Hey Cinder, would it be possible for me to join up as well? I thought I might be a bit too busy for an RP at the moment, but honestly that expression dump intro you wrote drew me in
Seems like a cool setting you must've built up, I love world building
Anyway I had an idea for a character, although the occupation isn't really one that you listed, but hopefully it fits in ok ... So yeah, let me know if anything would need changing:
Name: Katyusha, or just 'Kat'
Factory number: R.501
Gender: Female
Species: Lynx
Age: 21
Occupation: Rigger (Engineer sub-type?)
Appearance:+++ Image Loaded from data tape+++
A timid but hard working female lynx. Grey fur mottled with sandy brown and darker spots, white splashed fur over her stomach and chest. Her build is slightly short and stocky, full-figured with chubby weight in her hips, somewhat unusual compared to the normally slim workers. Dark hair is tied into two low ponytails over her shoulders.
She appears to wear typical clothing, muted khaki overalls with protective patches on the forearms and legs, a tool-belt and handheld welding torch. Rugged boots and a thick leather bomber style jacket are worn to further protect from the cold and rain when working on the outside of the factory.

Extra: 'Riggers' is the collective name for the engineers brought in under forced "company employment" wherever the factory itself is in need of repair. Their constant work is spent on keeping the factory maintained, sent to climb up to the highest ceiling girders, patching the grimiest corners of the assembly lines or lowered into the pitch darkness of vents and silos. Death simply by falling is common amongst these worker gangs.
The Rigger's main tool is a multi-strapped harness with various hooks, lines and winches used for climbing the ceiling girders and walls of the factory. Once there it is the Rigger's job to perform maintenance of the factory building itself, often working in pairs. Due to the risky nature of their work, particularly when on the outside walls of the factory, all Riggers are forced to wear electro-shock collars that will activate if they try leaving set boundaries. Groups of Riggers are always overseen by a vigilant Guard 'gang-master' whose job is to ensure discipline.
