Kelis, making no move to halt the movement of her own tail, giggled at the sight of Amy as she tried to contain the swaying of the bright appendage. Her ears twitched as she caught wind of the quiet purr, and she let the purr she had beem holding back out in response, the gentle rumble filling the air around her. Taking a sip of her coffee, she spoke.
"I actually live just past the city limits," Kelis chirped. "I saw this cafe on my way home from work, and I thought that it would be worth a try!" The puma's smile lit up her face, and she looked at Amethyst with pure joy. Keen eyes scanned the soft-looking hair covering an equally delicate muzzle (Kelis had, at the moment she saw the hybrid, decided that delicate was an accurate word, at least in her mind) greedily, taking the sight in, wishing to ingrain it in her mind forever. She rested her elbows on the table, holding her coffee in both paws and peering at Amy with interest. "What about you? How long have you been living here, I mean," She added, rushing to say the last part, wishing that she too had beautiful, long locks to hide behind, rather than her short tuft of fur.
