Matthias nodded slowly. "Okay..." He sighed, glancing at the ground. "The problem is going to be avoiding the monsters coming after you... Normally, I'd be able to destroy such creatures, but these ones have some form of mentality, so I can only punish them... no matter how much some OTHER people want to cut them to pieces."
Aw, come on!! Can't we kill them a little bit? I...
"Shut UP," Matthias murmured, slapping Dragomir's hilt. "Anyway," he said as his glowing blue gaze returned to Angder and Andrew, "I do have a friend who could possibly carry all of us, but these monsters might be too fast. I could possibly open a brief portal into... er..." He hesitated, deciding to not mention how he could go to Hell whenever he wanted. "... a different place, but I doubt that I'm allowed to do that; that's really more Asbeth's territory... possibly Meredith's. Besides, Sasha would probably get on my case about it..." At this point, he appears to be thinking out loud, not really looking at Angder or Andrew. It appears as though he's talking about other people who he has some relation to, somehow, but he flashed back into focus as Angder fell back in the chair. ".... Oh," he said, remembering how his firewall had (failed? Backfired? I missed that post) that one time. "Sorry about that, I haven't had much practice with my fire abilites." Sighing, he quickly checked the ammunition he had for Redemption and Damnation. "Long story short, we'll need an escape plan."
The cat blushed a little and clutched a small pendant around her neck. "Well... I could make you a sandwich, I suppose," she said, looking sad.
