If You Were Your Fursona, How Would Your Daily Routine/Life Change?

Consider that you would become a curiosity and an intriguing oddity to many people. Your physiology would be altered, and there is a good chance that your everyday life would follow suit. What complications would you have to work around, not only to the eyes of your peers and the public, but also at home? How would it affect your species specifically?


For example, wings would require a specially-tailored wardrobe, claws would need to be taken into account in wood-floored houses, glasses would require altered frames to accomodate nonhuman ears. Even the more obscure things should be considered, like needing a faster refresh rate on your TVs and computer monitors, at least if your species is predatory in nature.


For me, I would have to get my clothes altered to fit wings and a tail, and shoes wouldn't be needed as often outdoors. Don't wear glasses or corrective lenses, so that's not an issue, and I'd probably have to get a better monitor to accomodate my increased visual resolution. Dulling of claws would have to become a common thing to do, as the last thing I'd want is to shred something fragile trying to grab it. The better eyesight would be nice, however, and the extra strength of a lion couldn't hurt either. But Jesus imagine the fur and feathers everywhere.

If I Became Angder properly I would become a much more active person, and probably die a lot younger trying to make a difference.

I would also get into a lot more fights.


Physical change only? NO effect whatsoever I never pictured Angder having any big issues with his hands or anything, so really my everyday life would improve ignoring racism and such, as Angder in my mind has always been at peek physical fitness...

I'd probably get away with just wearing sleeveless tops.
Preening will have to be something I would need to get used to.
Also I would need to get a 4k monitor just so my screen wont look pixelated.

On the other hand, I don't think I would have to brush my teeth and I also wont need to drive anymore.

Well, first and foremost, shoes would be gone and I'd consider myself perpetually stuck in shorts that I'd need to poke a hole in for my tail, seeing as I don't think I'd ever want to wear pants with digigrade legs. Seems like it would be too constricting. Black clothes would be something I'd never be able to wear again thanks to dog hair, but then again on the flip side, binders would be gone, so that's a plus. Also stockings would have to be specially made without the toe area because my claws wouldn't suit it. So weh there.

Other things that would probably suck, I wouldn't be able to see colors as humans do anymore welp back to greyscale art I guess, but the trade off would be a better sense of smell. I imagine that would be distracting, though. My claws would be trimmed down, and even when long, wouldn't be so sharp because dogs have sorta blunt claws. Mentally, I'd probably be thrilled? I can't imagine not being excited about being my character. I'd probably be a lot more confident... Though being a professional dog wrangler might be awkward if I'm a dog myself... Haha.

I would be a lot more social and probably venture out of my house a lot more, because my degree of socialness is directly related to how I feel I am presenting myself, and if I can present myself exactly how I want, then I will be really outgoing. Generally, if my hair isn't perfect, or im not happy with my attire, then I will make up any excuse to stay in my house and absolutely will not engage with people lol. Without getting too technical, I wouldn't change anything with my routine really.

That's assuming im anthro. If I turn into this doggy to my left (<---) then I'll probably be a trouble maker, ripping up the sofa, raiding the kitchen pantries, tracking muddy paw prints all over the new carpet...etc.

Well I'd join the military for starters. (Stupid frigging thyroid!) And i would also most likely have to move somewhere that's just a little bit colder. (Big thick sheppie fur cant be advantageous to florida climates) I'd also probably have to brush my fur a lot, and I'd probably also shed all over the place.

Also I'd be less afraid of fights,ETC, and i would also know what the hell to do in them.

If I were my fursona I would definitely have to get clothing modifications. My wings, Tail and ears would need a place to go. I wouldn't be a shedder due to the short hair I have. My hands and feet will be nearly the same, just longer nails(claws). So nothing bad about that. But my eyesight will decrease drastically, and I may need specialized contacts. But sounds would be very different. My sensitive ears may even need earmuffs at times. My sleeping pattern will be the same. As I already sleep during the day and stay up all night.

All in all I'll still be socially awkward. And I'll feel even more apart from everyone if I'm the only person like me. But I would feel comfortable around other furrys. Honestly speaking I think I would be an outcast and unwanted. But you never know...right?

I would have a hard time with door's always walking into the arches. It would take time for me to realize I'm eight feet tall now..


Gravity would feel weaker to me, so I would forget my own strength and crush my coffee cup every morning.


I happen to be clumsy with in the first hour of waking up.


 But on the bright side, I wouldn't have to worry about separating the bones from the meat by using my hands.


I would be hunted by every nation for science, but worshiped by Egyptians.


But most importantly, I'd be fabulous.

I will have to move somewhere where temperature doesn't fall under 7°C, but basically it would be the same... And I would have to get used to how to use my claws and my paws...

I'm going to say one word that will sum up my cleansing routine: antlers. Having antlers would be a pain in the butt, even Armonia's long hair. Ugh, and I forgot about the tail…
Since Armonia is mainly pictured in dresses, except my avi at times, I wouldn't mind. They hide her Digitigrade legs of her cervine part and bring out her more curved hourglass. Also a bonus, full hips yet thin. Shorts aren't an issue since they'll end right above the first leg joint. Shoes won't be a thing anymore, so bye-bye Converse :-( Shirts can really only be large, and oversized, or tank tops or button ups. Claws would probably be rather sharp and hooves may require some sort of metal show on the bottom of my cloven nail toes.

Reactions: I don't think my family would really be upset if I became a large animal hybrid the color of an uncommon jewel. It might be difficult to get used to at first. People at school would be confused and judge mental, though if I can be any of my other seven sonas, Titan could lay them flat. My mate wouldn't think I'm crazy because he like Armonia and myself.

Well we could start with hygiene and grooming: Jenac has a lot of hair (not including fur, though that's also a factor now), so I would most likely have to wash off in the nearby river (I'm water-greedy  ). Other than that, it's pretty much just a lot more brushing my coiffure.

As for clothing, I could go for Jenac's Renamon-mimicking style of wearing just sleeves on my lower arms. But if more was needed, shirts and jeans would need to be bigger, yet able to in a proper way bring out my feminine, kinda hourglass shape.
