So my country is falling to shit...

Recently the news has been about the removal of a statue of Cecil John Rhodes from the University of Cape Town on the grounds that it's oppressive and a reminder of the Apartheid. This has sprung a massive movement to remove many of the country's statues and landmarks in what seems to be a movement to erase the history of South Africa.
In the chaos, a party called the EFF are causing havoc by trying to rally as many loyal black followers to claim land from the whites by simply just taking it regardless if the properties are occupied or not.
The road I need to drive through on Monday to go back to my apartment was this morning called a "Warzone" with people from the slums stoning police officers and any car driving through the national highway.


To summarise I'm a white male in a country that's being decayed and turned into chaos by black people with a racist regime.
The only thing keeping me here is my chef course that is going to span until 2017 and who knows how crazy things will be by then.

Be safe and if things get too out of hand, it might be a good idea to leave even if you haven't finished your Chef course, you have to assess whether things get bad enough to make you unsafe.

I have experienced something uneventful and I can pretty say that racists and mobs over lands are always jerks and often psychos....... uh... not really. At least from what i know of it,having known several cops, and planning to be one myself. I mean sure, it is in effect , a gang, but still. They're out to protect you, at least for the most part. Sure, there are corrupt and incompetent cops, and those are quite often brought to the forefront of our attention because this is often how thwy are portrayed in our media, because stories of corrupt, racist cops bring in the views. But in all actuality, having known several cops, most of them are a right guys.

I mean sure, they do stupid things. Sometimes they shoot when they shouldn't. Hell, they do this quite a bit. But whatb one to do when their life is on the line?

Guns don't really happen here and it would cost me  lot of money to get one.
You have to be certified to handle one as well as your home being certified to keep firearms in a safe environment.
The cool thing though is that bladed tools and weaponry are all free reign. In fact I know people who collect guns and katanas as well as being ex-military at the same time who I could probably go to.
Personally I have my own blunt training katana in my kitchen
