*Duernab sighed, he was bored, and using his powers was taking its toll, he needed more to drink. He moves over to the bottom of the stairs, and concentrates.*

*in the libary, the book ray is reading suddenly changes, red text appears to flow onto the page, replacing what was already there*

"...I apologise for interupting... but I need to discuss the small matter of how you are paying the rent for your new home... please can someone come down to see me as soon as possible. "

*Glances up to see the red writing in the book Ray is reading over Ray's shoulder, looking around before sighing, pretty sure that Ray wouldn't want to go and seeing no one else around*


Come down to where? Oh right...I think del mentioned something about a vampire and a basement...


*Leaves the library and heads down to the basement, taking my sweet time as I go down the stairs*

*The door slams behind Xander, and Duernab materializes from the mist*

Ahh... I don't believe we have met... you have been to the west wing? also visited the library I see...

I can't leave this basement. *Duernab watches Xanders face, noting his reaction, then continues*

The fact is I need certain... supplies brought down here. most notably blood, don't care where it is from, but that's how you will pay the rent here. 1 jar of blood a week. got that?

*nods, stroking my chin as I think*


Well that raises a slight problem doesn't it? Question, this one jar of blood per person or for all of our rents?

*Duernab grins nastily*

Hmm... I had not thought of that... how many people are there... 9? *Duernab smirks*

1 for every 3 people seems reasonable enough don't you think? that would mean 3 a week, for the moment. enough for me to have a meal every day except Sunday... and on Sunday I can have it from my old source!

There's most likely a catch to this, isn't there? Also there's the small problem of getting it without being caught but seeing as how we can't die, I guess we can just use our own.

Well, you are half right, More fighting would be fun, but I do seriously want some blood, as exerting my influence over the house makes me thirsty.
