*fighting through the pain as I lurch forwards and jab my dagger at one of Crest's eyes, intending to stab through to his brain*

Crest-*crest howls in pain but grabs the dagger before it can get to anywhere vital. I pull it out and rip it from xanders hand I shoot him in one hand and stab in the other all aiming for the face*

*at this range there's literally nothing I can do but fall dead, hitting the ground hard and leaving a rather large pool of blood*

*Duernab walks over to the coffin*

*Duernab stops and concentrates for a second, suddenly the Basement is silent, not just quiet, but literally silent except for Duernab and Xander*

Now we can't be overheard....

Crest and Akumu are growing too powerful for me to handle. I need to put a top to there rise.

Dealing with Crest is beyond your abilities it would seem, but Akumu... I think I know what you need to do.

As well as Crest's ring which makes him act like a vampire, Crest will also have stolen several other objects, including a collar. I want you to put it on Akumu, it will nullify his power entirely, you got that?

Just place it over his neck and close it, it will lock magically, and the magic will do the rest. *Duernab sketches the collar for Xander* this is it! I don't care how you do it. Crest and Akumu are FAR too powerful together.

Hey, can't be that hard, I can keep coming back so they'd have to keep stopping me infinitely yet I just have to succeed once, I mean statistically I can't lose.

Oh, one question, is there anywhere I could find the materials to make something small which...well goes "boom". Don't worry I'm not planning to blow the house up, just a...hobby I guess

West wing, third storeroom on the right upper floor... all the gunpowder you will ever need. oh, and the room is covered in an anti-explosive ritual... which means matches are 100% Ok in there.

*I head to the third storeroom in the west wing and get to work making a few makeshift explosives, I end up making a couple of primitive trip mine and a few makeshift grenades, neither effective as a military grade weapon of course but they'd still blow someone up, pocketing the items, before wondering if I could make anything else and eventually just passing out*
