A House Divided

[Angder]

*the cat strides past Xye, but does not see him, the cat hums to herself, and the tune echos and distort in odd ways, as if the trees and wind were trying to mimic it...*

*xye holds his position, not daring to breathe or move*

[Angder]

*the figure stops at one of the trees, and places her hand on it... you notice it grow slightly... she then keeps moving, and disappears into the forest...*

*xye moves between the trees, in the other direction from the cat, towards the clearing*
<This place is full of surprises....>

[Angder]

*The monsters do not seem to notice Xye...*

*Xye arrives at the lodge*

*xye walked inside, and sat on the bed, looking into the fireplace*

[Angder]

*All is calm...*

Ah, calm. The atmosphere is quite different from the main house.
*lays on the bed, looking out the window*

Ray continued to wander, and decided to enter a room on a whim.

[Angder]

*ray finds himself in a storeroom in the east wing, full of barrels and crates, the room is dusty, and a little damp...*

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sniffed, and sneezed. "Whew...bless me." He began inspecting a nearby barrel. "What do you hold, little wooden friend?"

[Angder]

*The Barrel has no lid and appears to contain a broken statue, smashed to pieces, the head is visible on top of the rubble, a look of horror on its face.*

[Rayleonarde]

Ray tilted his head. "What happened to you?"

[Angder]

*no response from the head*

[Rayleonarde]

Ray chuckled, and bowed, before continuing about the storage room.
