The Arena: Episode 2

"And wait for us to get captured or killed?"
Kro turned back to the troops, trying to estimate their gear. More than there was back at the arena, to say the least.

[Zarconite]

*slowly opens his eyes and looks around*
wh..where am.. I..?

[Kyle MaJoi]

Zarco was straped to a metal table as scientists rolled him through the hallways of the building. As they moved, they passed a window that showed a huge drill drilling away at the earth as scientists and troopers stood around it with their hovering computers. It was almost as if they were trying to find something...

[Zarconite]

*Pulled at his arms and looked over himself*
*Thinking in his head* ..have they done anything else to me..?
and what are they doing over there!?

[Kyle MaJoi]

The drill pulled out as two scientists pulled out what looked to be a fragment of an Aztec like plate.

[Zarconite]

*Thinking in his head* I don't like the looks of this..
this is much worse than I first thought it to be..

*looks around*
uhhm.. where are you taking me..?

[Kyle MaJoi]

"To your new cell." The scientists said as they brought Zarco to a cell. When they threw him into it, they pushed a button that caused lasers to form into bars.

[Zarconite]

*Sighed*
..well at least I think I'm still the same as before..

*lies down on the floor and stares at the ceiling*
*in his head* What could they want that artifact for?

[Angder]

*I start to wake up again*

Where... where am I?

Kro continued to wander along the street, as the troops had flowed down the road, towards the towering structure ahead. He knew he needed to find someone... The entire group couldn't have been captured, could they? And what of the troops? They must've had a reason to withdraw like they did, and that reason couldn't be a good one. Whatever Typhon was planning, it was NEVER a good thing. He continued to search the area, looking for anyone that could aid the situation.

[Zarconite]

*sighs*

I hope the others stay safe..
*starts doing sit ups to pass the time*

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*Alphie had bandaged Angder and left him on a medical bed. He was being fed blood from a pack of it, through a tube hooked up to a needle which was injected into his arm veins.* Still among the living

[Angder]

Ah...

*Angder looked at his arms*

Is it safe to remove these? *gestures at the tubes*

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

I'd advise against it. You lost a lot of blood. Thankfully I was able to make more for you, but for now, you don't have enough to play 'gung-ho'. *Alphie was looking through a microscope*

Did... Did I get Zarc out?
