The first thing I did when installing Daggerfall was try to turn the nudity off, if you wish to know my thoughts on that.

Well when i saw the nudity things i was kinda meh. I was a little surprised though seeing that out of a elder scrolls game considering the first installment was very clean and everything else after it too. It wasn't a turn off or turn on for me. (Yes i meant that.)

Let's talk about not nudity, and bring up these two reviews, which are both extremely hilarious.

Not a fan of ESO, since it isn't really an Elder Scrolls game, just an MMO. And it doesn't do enough outside the MMO formula to be enjoyable (SWTOR).

Also, Daggerfall has the best soundtrack in the series. Go look it up. And because I like being controversial, Oblivion is my least favorite soundtrack in the series. oooooooo

Least favorite game (save Arena), least favorite soundtrack.

But being part of the best series ever, being the worst of the bunch is probably still pretty good, and I play Oblivion pretty regularly.

No, I'm no hipster.

Soundtracks:

1. Daggerfall
2. Skyrim
3. Morrowind
4. Arena
5. Oblivion

Games:

1. Skyrim
2. Morrowind
3. Daggerfall
4. Oblivion
5. Arena

Also, watch the reviews, they're hilarious. I'd post some of the jokes but they're all too NSFW.

Okay, I found one:

"...you just flail around like a schizophrenic chimpanzee on meth and hope your enemy dies before you do."
-Arena's combat

Probably a late response to the daggerfall crash issue but you should download it off the official elderscrolls website. Its free to everyone and actually works that way. Its ran in dosbox though

I've recently turned to Morrowind in a final desperate attemp to get my fix of Elder scrollsy goodness. And to my amazement, it works! *knocks on wood and all that*
It's already starting to become on of my favorites, despite me not having those rose-tinted nostalgia goggles most Morrowind fans seem to have glued on their faces. I was already playing Skyrim and Oblivion without quicktravel and mostly travelling on foot, so it wasn't too much of a shock. And I -love- that there are no tiny arrows pointing me to everything and everyon. It's cruel and unforgiving, exactly how I like my games. Oh, and the soundtrack is lovely too. Morrowind main theme has always been my favorite, and the rest of the thing is pretty good too.

The only things I can complain about are the combat system and lack of voiceovers. Both relatively minor things tho.
The voiceover thing is mostly a convenience-thing since I tend to forget how to English when I'm tired. But then again, if I'm tired I should just go sleep instead.
Many seem to agree the combat is a bit stupid, but I can deal with that too even if it tend to make me feel mildly annoyed at times. But that's part of the charm I guess.

I DO confess I've dolled up the game a little with a texture overhaul mod as well as the better bodies and better heads-mods, but other than that I've left the game as-is.

And another silly yet relevant-ish thing that I decided to do. I dug out screenshots of the characters I('ve) play(ed) as the most in all the games I've played (Skyrim, Oblivion, Online and Morrowind)

Spoiler for Some stupid screenshots:
Spoilers within a spoiler. Yeah, you can hate me now<3

Spoiler for Skyrim, 3 pictures:

My first-ever Elder Scrolls-character. A dual-wielding Nord named Cheza. And her husband Vorstag. And Shadowmere.

My "current" and first "properly-played" (No TIM, TGM, carrying capacity changes or even quicktravel) Skyrim character. A Khajiit healer named P'urr. This screenshot is kinda outdated as she no longer wears this kind of armor, but I can't get new ones thanks to Skyrim no longer working on my computer. Serana is hiding somewhere behind her. You might spot her foot if you look close enough.

Spoiler for Oblivion, 2 pictures:

An unarmored Nord archer named Cheza. Played with similar "no quicktravel"-rules as P'urr. And with those shackle-things for no particular reason.

Spoiler for Morrowind, 1 picture:

A Nord archer named... Cheza! How surprising.

Spoiler for Online, 1 picture:

A Nord Templar named Aiska. COMBO BREAKER!

Needless to say, I'm not a too creative person xP

Anyone have any tips for the dungeons in Daggerfall? Cause, those dungeons are MASSIVE! WAY bigger than they need to be. And usually it takes me hours to find a target for a mission. One time I got lucky and I found a target mission close to the start of the dungeon, but usually it takes me an arm and a leg, plus 100 game overs to do. Right now I'm on a "The Recompense" type mission and I have to find a ranger in a massive dungeon who worked with and stole this dude's money. I've been slogging through a HUGE dungeon, and I can't find him anywhere. Does the game give ANY clues whatsoever of the whereabouts of your target?

Nope. Just keep slugging away at it. Also rest and save often. You won't die as much and if you do you won't be too far from where you last saved.

I decided to give Arena a whirl too. I'm surprised that, as big as Daggerfall was (about 150MBs) that Arena was only 8MBs. Also, I'm sorry but I really hate both the Kajiit and Argonians in this game. In Arena, there's virtually nothing in their design that tells you they're supposed to be cat-like, and the Argonians look more like ZOMBIES than lizards. ...But that's neither here nor there.

I also dislike how Arena has no quick-travel function like the later games, so you'll pretty much wander aimlessly throughout the entire game. ...However, the combat feels a bit smoother than Daggerfall, and the graphics are more consistent.
