A doomed timeline.

[Angder]

Grunans sighs. "Chains, go get the body shrunk and in storage, I am going to my room to make plans, and get some sleep I will see you in the morning" Grunan moves upstairs, A small Koala who seems to materialize when Grunan is on the stairs follows.

"I should probably call it a night as well." Angder mutters, he heads to his room.

((I am also going to bed IRL, night all.  ))

((Also, someone just died... we are ridiculously unfazed by that fact. ))

[The Past]

((Geoff isn't unfazed. He just has too much in his head right now.))

Anda (Geoff) was getting uncomfortable and irritable. She sighed and spoke slowly.

"Soul guardians... guard souls... The soul guardians guard souls because they are guardians of souls... That's why they call them soul guardians."

Cassy gently kissed Setcho's nose and leaned against the wall; her stomach looked a lot less sore now. "I was pretty scared myself," she said, carefully rubbing her arm. "I thought I'd killed myself; I never expected the blowback to be that bad. It felt like my intestines had busted out of me like that thing from Alien, and my head was spinning." The crat looked down at her feet. "And having to stabilize those three a few minutes ago..." She chuckled softly. "Damn near gave myself a hernia." She looked up at Setcho. "... You were the one healing me a lot of the time, weren't you?"


The cat nodded. "Rest well."


Clare chuckled. "Yeah, but at least you'll probably get a little less winded."

[Chains]

"Huh.... still makes no sense to me." I say shaking my head.

Cassy leaned in close and kissed Setcho. "You were there and you helped to save my life," she said, smiling and swishing her tail. "That's all that matters." Stretching gently, the crat rubbed the back of her head. "... We should probably check on Kye."

Cassy fluttered her wings half-heartedly, still a bit saddened by the deaths that had occurred. "Maybe she's in her room," she said, gently taking Setcho's hand with a half-hearted smile. "... Setcho, please never let me go."

[The Past]

Anda (Geoff) looked at Geoff's body with concern.

Will Geoff actually be able to return to his body properly? And even after that, what about Anda? It was his fault she was dead, and there had to be some way to bring her back to the living world. There had to be a way. This was going to torment him for the rest of his life if he didn't figure it out.

Clare gently put a hand on Geoff's shoulder. "Hey, if we can bring people back from hell, we can fix this mess," she said, smiling.


Nodding, Cassy picked up the popcorn bucket and her bloody shirt, grabbed some cookies from the kitchen, and headed upstairs. "Just in case she's feeling down," she said, holding Setcho's hand.

Cassy gently handed the popcorn bucket and cookies to Setcho, then knocked on the door herself. "Kye?" she called out.
