A doomed timeline.

Xander continues to stare at the ceiling, eventually looking at that mask again, turning it round and looking at the inside, spotting a note. He takes it off and carefully reads it. He jumps out of bed and throws the mask to the ground. Making his way downstairs and heading for the front door with a quick stride.

[Chains]

Opening the fridge I looked for something to eat. I couldn't find it, so i grabbed the jug of milk and a closed the fridge. floating over to the pantries i grabbed a glass and poured me a glass, and put the milk back.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander exits the apartment and sprints down the road as fast as he can. Hoping that nobody sees or hears him. Thankful that most people are asleep at the moment.

[Chains]

I hear the door open and close when I finish my milk and put it in the sink. Going outside I say a figure sprint down the road. curious I follow after the figure.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander is surprisingly fast when he wants to be it seems, as he's already got a huge lead on Chains. He turns a corner so sharply he almost stumbles but he regains his balance and runs down an alleyway.

[Chains]

With both my hearing and speed, but I was lucky to keep up with him.

[Angder]

Much like earlier, Angder leaves the apartment in secret, this timehis time climbing down the wall. "Fire demon. always a classic." Angder vanished into the night.

[Grovygrunge]

The sounds of a struggle can be heard at the end of the alleyway, which is poorly lit, a few grunts, a yelp and the sound of fists connecting with flesh. By the time Chains has truly caught up Xander is alone in the alleyway again, bloodied and bruised. Heading back the way he came.

[Chains]

Not really looking, I flew right into the dark figure walking from the alley way he had entered.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander stops in his tracks and stumbles a little, left feeling weak, he almost falls over. He groans as he just barely keeps his balance. "Who's there...?"

[Chains]

"Oh jeez, what did I hit,  a brick wall?" I ask as I rub my head and try to get back up.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander sighs as he hears Chain's voice and recognises it. "Go back home...now..." He continues to walk out of the alleyway and heads into the street, heading back towards the apartments.

[Chains]

"xander, that you?" I ask, "what are you doing out here?"

[Grovygrunge]

He quickens his pace. "Nothing that concerns you. Just head back to the apartments, I'm doing the same."

[Chains]

"So, why are you really out hear?" I ask as I float next to him.
