A doomed timeline.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander slips his mask on as soon as he sees the police officers. "Yup. I hope they don't cause a problem." Seeming to have calmed down a little now there's a promise of a fight. He starts to follow the trail. "So tell me, are these guys amateurs or professionals?"

[Angder]

"Probably a mix, the gunman-ship looked solid, but they could not cover the trail... BUT the police did not 'Find' it, so I suspect they are~" Angder raised a hand. "Voices" He whispers.

[The Past]

One looked toward Nucleon.

"Can that creepy guy hear us? And that other guy?"

"No, I don't think so. He shouldn't hear us that far away."

One turned back to Geoffrey, now talking quieter just in case, hoping that will be enough.
"We've got good news."

Two: "you may not believe us at first, though."

One: "You're gonna be a father!"

Geoff stared at them bewildered. "Wha--what? What?!"

The twins both waved their hands and shook their heads.

"Oh no no no, not us," One clarified. "And later in time."

Geoff was still confused. "Uh... go on?"

Two smiled and raised their hands slightly.

"The guardians of the powers that be shall soon bless you with children. They won't be of blood. They're returning from the other side."

"'The... other side'?" Geoff asked, a bit overwhelmed.

"Hell," said One.

"No," Two corrected, "Just one is from Hell. Supposedly."

Geoff rubbed his head, not completely buying this. "Okay..."

((continuing...))

[Grovygrunge]

"Police don't find anything th-" Xander falls silent listening out closely, standing still as he does. His ears twitching a little.

[Angder]

Angder inched forward, trying to listen to the bandits, "Damn... these guys are just sick." he mumbles.

((Geoff is Kro's father, calling it now  ))

[Grovygrunge]

Angder hears a group of five to six bandits conversing, it's a little hard to tell from just voices alone. How ever many there are it seems to be all of them. as things like "Is this all that's left?" can be heard along with accounts of gruesome acts done to members who wanted an out. "Well then...They're hardcore at least..." Xander whispered, keeping his voice down.


(If that happens I'm blaming you.)

[Angder]

Angder moved round the group, and emerged on the far side, opposite Xander. "good evening gentlemen." Angder draws his axe. "You have ten seconds to surrender before... Oh why do I even bother?" Angder charges at the nearest bandit, swinging his axe.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander walks out from where he was hiding, twirling the sword in his hands. "Well this is gonna be fun." Smirking underneath his mask. The bandit Angder charged barely manages to register what's happening and tries to desperately scramble away as another takes a shot at Angder, missing by an inch, just as panicked as the first.

[The Past]

Two: "But yeah. The guardians trust you to aid them in their new life. And, you know of the powers you've awakened in yourself."
One: "And the job you now have."
Two: "Your children are to do the same. To earn their redemption... if that's the word."

Geoff shook his head. "I... I... I'm still trying to wrap my head around all these things, and now children?... How di--how do you know this? Why haven't the-the "guardians that be" or whatever said anything to me?"

"Classified," One stated simply, holding back a smile.
Two sighed. "That doesn't matter. We just wanted to let you know."

[Angder]

Three of the bandits draw their guns on Angder, but have there back to Xander, distracted.

Angder continues to surge forward, he turns to the one who tried to shoot him, and swings at him, hoping to knock the gun from his hand.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander slowly approaches one of the three bandits that are facing away from him and drives the sword straight through his back and out of of his chest. Turning his head to the other two. "Hey, fellas."


The bandit's gun is knocked from his hands and he twirls from the force, shaking his head to clear his senses. "It's just one guy you wimp! There's two of us, just kill him." The bandit scrambling away gets up and charges Angder with the intent of driving him to the floor.

[Angder]

The other two bandits who were facing away from Xander suddenly turn as their friend falls to the ground. "TWO OF THEM! TWO OF THEM!" They attempt to shoot Xander multiple times, but in their panic they have trouble aiming.

Angder Crouches down, and rolls into the guy charging at him, causing him to trip over and go to ground. Angder comes out of his roll, gracefully Turning, and driving his axe into the Bandit's skull. "Now there is one of you." Angder states, turning to face the gunman.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander kicks the body of the bandit he just skewered forwards as the bullets whiz past him.Leaving the sword inside him. "There now the sword's in him and it's more fair for you. Oh...You should learn to aim under stress." He shakes his head before tackling one of the remaining two to the ground and slamming his head against the floor.


The gunman looks over to his gun which is too far away to go and run for. He swallows and pulls out a knife, getting close to Angder and trying to stab him in the chest. "You son of a..."

[The Past]

Two: "It may be hard at times, but the fun will make up for it."
One: "It's just being a dad, but more badass."

Two rolled their eyes, but smiled. "Yeah, pretty much."

The twins said goodbye and began walking away and waving at Geoff.

He watched them go, then looked at Leon in the distance while he walked to the building, raising his arms in a dramatic shrug, mouthing "I don't know" to him. He span to face the door and stepped in.

((That all should have still been audible to Leon, btw ))

[Angder]

The remaining bandit, a cat, drops the gun ("Useless piece of turd") and dives At Xander with his claws, "GET OFF HIM YA FECKING FECKER..."
The bandit under Xander looks up groggily, obviously barely conscious. but has just enough strength to draw his knife, and swing it at one of Xanders arms.

Angder tries to deflect the stab, but is just to slow, the blade cuts into his side. "AAAGH!" Angder brings the axe down on the bandit's back, but then backs away slightly clutching his wound. "Ow. bastard."
