A doomed timeline.

Xander winces as he's stabbed in the arm. Grabbing the knife by the blade and wrenching from the bandit's hand, cutting his palm as he does. He rolls off of the bandit just in time for the other one to miss him, landing on his comrade. "Ow! Jesus!" He kicks the bandit he rolled off in the head as hard as he can. "You ass!"


The bandit is knocked to the ground as the axe hit's his back. He slowly pushes himself up. "I'm the bastard? You're the one who came out off nowhere like scum."

[Zarconite]

Nucleon - *jumped down from his rock and walked over to Geoff*
Hmm.. I heard the conversation..
Do you know those kids?

[Angder]

The bandit Xander kicks is knocked out, the other one rolls off his friend, And leaps at Xander. "DIE!"

Angder looks up at the bandit, suprised. "Funny, most of your sort either die, or play dead when I do that." Angder swings again, aiming to hit the bandit with the flat of the blade across the face. Killing him now seemed... unfair... when the non-lethal alternative was just as easy.

[The Past]

"I don't. I'm not sure if I should believe them..."

[Zarconite]

Nucleon - I wouldnt..
Judging by their facial expressions and body language, they were lieing
You shouldn't have anything to worry about, how could you have children anyway?
you're male.. unless you have a girlfriend I don't know of

"oh shit..." Xander turns the knife around so he's gripping the handle and raises it in the hopes that the bandit will dive straight into it and braces for the impact.


There's a loud crunch as the flat of the blade hits his face and he slumps to the ground but he's clearly still breathing and mostly unharmed compared to most of the others.

[Angder]

Xander is dead right in his prediction, the cat lands on the knife, claws at Xanders face, then goes limp.

Angder Glances over at Xander. "You OK?"

[The Past]

"They said 'not of blood', so... I guess they meant I'm going to adopt these kids they're talking about. They're... reincarnated or something."

[Zarconite]

Nucleon - Unless you have that planned,
I highly doubt that that will happen

"Oh yeah...I'm fantastic!" Xander throws the dead cat to the floor. His mask had protected him from getting his face scratched and he's covered in a good amount of blood, some of which is his own. The arm he was stabbed in is limp but on purpose to keep it from hurting too much. He starts to laugh loudly, almost maniacally. "Oh, that was exactly what I needed."

[The Past]

Geoff shrugged sheepishly.
"Ehh, well... I was kinda planning to adopt when ready. But like... many years from now. I wouldn't be able to handle such a commitment at this time..."

[Angder]

Angder Pats Xander on the back. "Nothing like a good fight eh?" Angder smirks "We should start heading b~"

"Over there, there were shots fired round here..." "I am gonna kill anyone who hurt those guys"

"Shazbot, we have company, and I think we should retreat." Angder heads back, heading back the way they came.

Xander walks after Angder, spotting the bandits as they enter the area. He slowly pulls his homemade grenade from his pocket at pulls the pin out, counting in his head before throwing it. They look up at the direction it came from to see him flip them off before running after Angder. A moment later there's a loud explosion accompanied by a few screams. "We should definitely run back home."

[The Past]

"Okay. I'll see ya later."

Geoff walked to the stairs.

"This world is full of crazy lately," he half-sang, "Fuuull'a crazyyy~..."
