A doomed timeline.

*Stationary phone at the living room began ringing*

[The Past]

The water still wasn't boiling yet. He rechecked the heat and peered at the water irritably.

He walked back into the room to see Tulip had fallen asleep. He sighed and lay down next to her, soon falling asleep as well.

*Stationary phone at the lobby began ringing, while one at the living room stopped*

*waited for the lift to come down, so she could use it, not knowing xander was inside*

Xander took the lift down stairs and entered the main foyer, hearing the phone in the lobby, he shrugged and went to it waving to Kye as he passed. "Hey there." He seemed to be the only one around to answer it so he picked up the phone and placed it to his ear. "Hello?"

*caught off guard*

wait...xander? oh hey....

*realising he was on the phone she waited for him to finish*

Is there Leon or Angder around? Can you get them to the phone?

[The Past]

((For whatever reason, I picture Xander holding the phone up to his ear like L from Death Note. ))

The water continued to heat as Geoff and Tulip slept.

[Angder]

Angder moves over to the phone. "Who is it Xander?"

[Grovygrunge]

Xander shrugs. "No idea, who this is, I also don't have a clue where Leon is. Angder is right here." He is holding the phone from the top of it, dangling it an inch or so from his ear.

"Hello?" Angder talks into the phone.

"Alright, sure. Whatever." Xander yawns as he stands there, listening the Angder's half of the conversation.

It's Fluff. I heard you saw something right after Kro died. What was that? *Fluffy began precisely inspecting Kro's ears* ((Kro, would you kindly?))

*the ear seemed to have a circular hole cut out of it. There was no marking or scarring, just a clean hole. It wouldn't be possible by any normal means, but there does seem to be a small shard of some kind of crystal just on the table below his head. It had a purple shine to it*
