A doomed timeline.

*Huge ((like a mini-nuke)) explosion went off nearby the apartments. It was Fluffy's house. So huge, the blastwave took off most of the windows. There was only a deep crater and some walls left*
(Reactor worked. We don't have much time now) *Turret was almost done*

Angder heard the trucks. "Err, Fluffy. I think your kinda screwed."

/So am I if they find my demon-hunting stuff/ Angder thought. he swore silently.

"Ok... Cassy. we can't have cops running around, any ideas?"

Cassy smiled. "Yes," she said. "First, stop Fluffy from attacking them and then lock him in a place where he can't be found. Then we just convince them that he's not he..." Hearing the explosion, Cassy pressed in on the bridge of her nose. "... Alternately, I could just ask Jeff to murder everyone."

[Angder]

Grunan nodded. "That's easy." Grunan follows Fluffy. "Fluffy. Do you mind If I cast something on you?"

Angder shakes his head "What the hell is fluffy playing at?"

"Apparently, he just likes to murder policemen," Cassy said dryly.

[The Past]

Geoff was unaware of what was happening outside his apartment. He now lay on the bed with Tulip.

Seems her sleeping schedule is just as messed up as his. He chuckled softly.

He jolted at the explosion. He made a face and let his head fall back onto the bed.


This kind of crap was starting to seem normal to him.

Xander gets to his room and looks at his bloodied clothes. Starting to get ideas. "Okay...that might be worth risking arrest, but they are SWAT, maybe I should stay here and wait for it to all blow over."

Grunan grins. "It will stop the police finding you."

Suddenly, a dome of energy surrounds the two of them. "Stay within this bubble. whatever you see stay within the bubble. I will know when its safe."


Outside the bubble, reality distorts, for a second, the whole world is on fire, then there is a ruin... suddenly Fluffy sees armed men enter on all sides... only to disapate. finally Fluffy sees... them.

Tentecaled monstrosities, with huge eyes, eyes with teeth... they seem to watch Fluffy and grunan. hungrilly. "The police can't find us here..."

I let it drop onto his head and start laughing historically.

(ooh.. thunder... again.)

Tim gets splashed, drowned, whatever, immersed in the ball of water and resurfaces holding onto his float.

Hearing the laughing, he turned around to see a small looking fur thing. He thought it was a kid, but he knew he was the one who did it.
"What the?.... how could a child have such an affinate power in magic? And such a big orb too. Hmmm... Hey, squirt! I appreciate the water but don't make it so big next time!" Tim blew his nose tried to fix his stinging eyes.
