A doomed timeline.

"Just visiting a friend," Ciara said. She wondered why she hid her wings, but kept that to herself.

Jeff poked his head in. "... They're not watching. Not anymore."


Cassy sighed in relief, then turned to Ciara. "Alright then... Come on in," she said, standing aside and pulling Angder with her. "Do you want something to eat? I could make you something after I change, my wings are getting a bit cramped in this thing."

[The Past]

"No, thank you. ... Er, why are you hiding your wings like that?" Ciara asked.

Letting go of Angder, Cassy sighed and closed the door, motioning with her eyes for Jeff to follow the other two. "There was some commotion earlier today, and I thought I should disguise myself," she said, carefully removing the t-shirt so that she didn't accidentally take off her tank top as well. The crat let out a sigh of relief as her wings unfurled. "Much better," she said, folding up the long t-shirt and smoothing out the fur on her sides. "So Ciara... What would you like to eat?"

[The Past]

"I'm fine for now, thank you. I just want to visit my friend for a while," she said. "He's not feeling well."

Cassy nodded. "Alright then," she said. "Go right on up." With that, she turned her attention back to Angder.

[The Past]

Ciara nodded and walked up the first flight of stairs to Geoff's door. She knocked it gently.

"Geoff, it's me." She spoke with a kind voice, but loud enough for him to hear from in his room, as well as for anyone close enough in the main area of the complex.

((assuming the walkways to the apartments have no wall.))

Geoff was laying in bed, hidden in the blanket. He could sense it was Ciara before hearing her voice. He lay face down and pulled the blanket tighter, holding his breath, hoping she would think he wasn't home and leave.

"I just want to talk with you... I'm not angry with you."

Geoff knew there was no way out. Ciara could sense him as well, even more so with the experience she has.

Ciara leaned, resting her arm against the door.
"I know you're stressed out... You've had it rough the past couple years, and then all this responsibility is placed on you... I don't blame you..."

Cassy heard this from where she was standing, but was a bit preoccupied to really seriously listen.

Tim jumped from his window and landed on his feet before quickly rolling into a ball and hitting a tree,
 rolling up with his momentum and uncurling, slamming down into the dirt.


"Damn...." *pat* "Talk about nightlife.... " He stares into the moon and reaches out to it.

A figure, who had been waiting at the door, heard the noise in the back and went to check on it.

"May I please come inside?... It's best if we talk in person."

Geoff drew lower into his blanket.

"I need to... admit some things... and I have important information to discuss with you. Especially about... where you are..."


Geoff huffed, giving in, and hesitantly stepped to unlock the door and let Ciara in. He closed it.

I woke up realizing i had fallen asleep in the grass, getting up, i went back to my room and fell asleep on my bed.

Tim decided now would be a great time for him to just focus his old teachings and practice his self defense under the bright moon.
He chose a wide open spot where the light of the moon brightly shined over everything in it's halo.


"I haven't done my Kento Arts in a while." *inhales and takes a position* "Kentooo.... Setsu... Kann.. The energy and power of life."
Tim knew he would get bored of his teachings but as long as he knew he had privacy, he was proud to practice it.
"My magic is not something I shou.ld forget. Just like Zarc said."

[The Past]

Geoff and Ciara talked in the privacy of the apartment.

"... I rushed you into it, before you were ready. I should have waited..." Ciara told him. "... Ideally, I should have given you time to sort your life out, and even more time helping you adjust..."

Geoff sighed. "No... No... W-with all the shit that's been going down here, I don't think I'd ever feel ready."

"Yeah, that's the other reason why I'm here..." Ciara leaned against the wall. "I had a related mission for you, but if you wish to leave the clan... it's best if you move out. This land is too unstable."

"I've been planning on it, to be honest... once I figure out where to go..."
Geoff sat on his couch and thought. "I'm not really sure if I want to leave the clan, though. I like what we do. It's just, I know some missions are dangerous, a-and--"

"You're afraid of messing them up. I understand."

They stayed silent for a while. Ciara sat on the couch next to Geoff as he stared at the floor, thinking hard.
"I'm not leaving." he said suddenly. "Th-the clan, I mean. I just... need to deal with the fear."

"Are you sure?"

"... Yes."

"Okay. I'll be sure to give you easy stuff until you get the hang of things." Ciara smiled.

"Er, well... there is the task I mentioned. The first part should be easy enough because you live here. We can take care of the rest... There are a few residents I need you to keep an eye on..."

After finishing their discussion and chatting a little, Ciara left the property, and Geoff lay on the couch, taking a nap.
