A doomed timeline.

[Angder]

Grunan leaned down. "Acksen" Geoff's legs begin to turn to stone. Grunan turns to Fout. "Find Angder, before the thing kills him."

Grunan slumps down, as Fout vanishes. "So. What exactly were you doing here before you decided to help a dangerous demon escape?"

((Is the paralysis total? or can the victim still speak?))

*A mystical veil wraps itself around the warehouse. The stunning light show made up of blue and purple, gave the illusion that one could pass through. But no one was getting through it. A hand suddenly reached out and grabbed Geoff, pulling him to the edge of the veil before surrounding him in a bubble*

((I just don't want Geoff getting killed/harmed/incapasitated, as of yet. There is something going on between him and Tulip, and I would rather that not be hindered, as of yet)

Xander slowly sat up in his bed and sighed. It seems his body was ready to wake up, alright then. He sat up and walked down stairs, heading into town. He realised he's been going out on late night works a little too often.


(He wasn't going to be harmed seriously as I understand)

[The Past]

((He can still speak, maybe a little poorly. And it's temporary. Geoff probably made it strong enough to last about ten minutes.))

((I'm sorry, but I'd rather not go with the godmod. It looks like he's going to be fine. ))

Geoff wasn't sure what to say. He stayed quiet for a moment, trying to think, trying to hide his fear.

"Aghh... I di-I didn't know... it was a demon... I just saw... a-a victim..."

((They turned his legs into stone  . For those of you who get the reference "I'm told that hurts" xD. Can we at least keep the veil. I just think it looks cool ))

((I personally am ignoring the whole post. this is not the first time you have godmodded and I don't want to encourage it.))

Angder struggles to speak. "Bas...tard..." "Oh... don't worry sweet thing... I am here for you..."

Fout sits on a crate watching, the bird taunt Angder, the demon was too weak to fly, but it could still kill Angder if threatened, stealth was needed.

Grunan sighs. "Esst" the legs turned back to flesh. "Thing manipulated you. not a cultist. Its a demon that specializes in making others kill each-other..."

"If you undo the spell on Angder I will happily pretend this never happened."

[The Past]

"I... it's... I could, i-if he were here... but i-it should go away on its own, I-I promise it will..."

Xander was strolling down a particularly empty street, kind of eerie but nothing too surprising at this time really. He was considering buying a jacket, but he blew the last of his money on his gloves. He looked down at them. "Money well spent..." He needed a job, though what reputable skill does he have? Hurting people, taking things...That's about it. Is being sarcastic a skill? No... Wait...Did he just see...? No. No it can't be...Just his imagination.

[Angder]

Grunan lifted Geoff up by the collar. "Then I guess someone else is going to go looking then."

There is a blast of plasma not far away. "I recommend checking over there."

Fout swore. "Whats wrong little one? Scared my claw, Might...slip?" Angder was held by the throat, by the bird, standard hostage situation, Fout came closer, the boss died. he had one shot, and he missed. The bird starts inching away, heading for the back door.

[The Past]

Geoff winced and did as he was told--but not because he was told. He really messed up this time, and now his friend was in serious danger...
He quickly sneaked over to the hostage situation, staying hidden as he eyed the bird. He tried to think of what to do. Something that wouldn't harm Angder in the process...

[Angder]

Fout sees Geoff, but gives no indication he has done so, except for subtly moving so that him and Geoff were flanking the bird.

Grunan moves over, but stays well back, stealth was not his strong point.

The bird continues to taunt and jeer. occasionally it moves as if to kill its captive. but always stops short, laughing at Fouts reaction.

Xander quickened his pace, starting to head back to the apartments. He felt a hand slip into his pocket and he whirled around, grabbing the arm of a tall wolf girl, a few years older than him and covered in almost as many scars but hers were a lot more visible, covering her amrs and some of her face. "Oh **censor** no..." He let go instantly, starting to back away, feeling something he hadn't felt in a while. Genuine fear, his heart was pounding in his chest.


???- "Well I was planning to wait a little longer before we were face to face again, old friend." She smirked. "How long has it been?" She just watched as he backed away and broke off into a sprint. "I know where you're staying, kid! Running isn't going to do much!"

[Angder]

((I am assuming you have no idea what to do about the situation given your lack of responce... ))

Angder tried to speak again. "y...y....you won't get away li..ike this."

"Oooo, sorry" The bird held Angder at arms length, with its back to Geoff. "What was that? your friends won't risk you dying. so..."
