A doomed timeline.

Jackal groans as he awakes from his long sleep. Looking around the room his vision I'd cloudly. Jackal rubs his own eyes looking around the room again. He sighs and stands, walking to the exit of the room. He opens the door and walks out. Curiously looking about as he starts to head downstairs.

[The Past]

"Yeah. I should try that..."

The discussion reminded him...

"Hey, uh... how is Leon? Where's he been?"

[Zarconite]

Zarco - Leon?
Ah, he moved out for a bit.. he's gone to see his wife and daughter
He said he may move back here at some point but he's not sure as of yet

As he is walking he sighs and gets to the bottom. Placing his key on a table he walks out into the woods.

[The Past]

Geoff thought Zarco would mention the battle, and if Nucleon recovered okay...

"He has a wife? and daughter... huh..." he smiled.

He was even more glad he healed Nucleon now.

[Zarconite]

Zarco - Yeah.. Trust Nucleon to just happen to bump into a really powerful magic user one day..
but yeah, at first she was much more powerful than Nucleon was..
Now that Leon has learned her techniques from the 'Aura' school of magic, he can sense where any life force is, he can draw energy from the planet itself for many applications and all sorts!

Erhm.. It.. wasn't easy for him to learn though.. you don't want to know what it takes in order to be able to control aura..

Anda closed her eyes and hugged squeezed Fluffy.
She wanted to focus, but wasn't able to.

"It sounds interesting," Geoff said thoughtfully. "Maybe I could learn that a little."

Thinking about it, that sort of magic sounded similar to what he could do already...

Zarco - Erhm.. don't tell anyone about this, but I've watched what Nucleon went through.. i..its not worth the torture..
whenever we merge bodies, I get to see all of his memories, and he can see mine

he had to go through months of living through nightmares and being mentally broke down before being re-built..

[The Past]

Geoff frowned. "Oh... yeah, maybe it's not for me, then..."

Now he was a little confused. Magic is hard to understand...

Zarco - There are so many magic schools.. some are more difficult than others it would seem
Mana is quite a simple magic system.. Mana goes in, spell comes out

Anda finally managed to focus.
She tried to reach out to the closest person awake, which at the moment was Geoff.

Geoff could feel the scratching over his head again, but only for few seconds.

She managed to do it, but lost focus shortly after that, due to Fluffy dreaming. She got a headache. Fluffy was slowly waking up, sensing what she was doing.

[The Past]

"Yeah... I'm still not sure about mine," Geoff said.
"When I use spells, it feels like using energy normally, like, how I would physically. And... y-you know how Leon can sense aur--aa-aaaa--"

Geoff rubbed his claws at the scratching. Then it stopped.

"... s-sorry..."

Zarco - Yeah I do..

Geoff rubbed his head.
"Ye-yeah, person did the... thing again..."

"Wait... You kn-- oh..."
Geoff took a breath and sighed. He really didn't care anymore, and even if his clan was against it, he trusted Zarco.
