A doomed timeline.

[The Past]

Ciara spotted Geoff on the street, and Geoff left the group to talk with her.

((Well, it's more like... in the story there's more limitations to who can use magic and what it can do, and Geoff's spirit-based abilities aren't as strong in that. I've had to buff him up a bit to keep up with the roleplay's power creep. Magehunters from his story would be completely shit at doing their job if they came across the magic seen in here.   And I didn't mean that, Alka, I meant his powers in general.))

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

((Yeah. I can kind of agree. Unless you've got a close friend without some powerful magic ability or a huge amount of danger in their lives, you kind of become insignificant if you don't also have either of those two  . And even then, the amount of times you're going to come up with some cool and original idea that's going to wow everyone else is kind of low, so yeah.))


*The crystal glowed orange*

[The Past]

Geoff didn't bother to try to find the group again, so he began walking back to the apartments. He didn't realize the crystal was glowing until he was near the property.

He looked down at it.
"Oh hey."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*The crystal slowly turned blacker before turning completely limp, and a dull black*

[Cifero Windtail]

Cifero woke up and stretched hugely as he was lying in bed, then quickly got ready before heading downstairs to grab some breakfast.

[The Past]

Geoff lifted the necklace, peering at the crystal with concern.

"... L-Lucky...?"

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

*The crystal blinked white 3 times, slowly fading to black each time*

[Angder]

Grunan turns to Cif. "Morning. You OK?"

((Grunan only existed because I needed something to match Alka's power (as in the character Alka), since then I have been quietly nerfing him through increasing numbers of side-effects...))

[The Past]

"That's not good, is it...?"

Geoff kept hold of the crystal as he walked back to his apartment and lay in bed.

He closed his eyes to contact Tulip.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

((Very quietly  . Although, [if Kro allows yet another character for me] I will be bringing in someone who could possibly best Grunan in a one on one fight.))


*She couldn't be sensed. Not wholly anyway. Fragments of her lay scattered around the crystal, but nothing more*

((Alka, that is COMPLETELY the WRONG attitude to take with character design for an RP ))

[Cifero Windtail]

Grunan turns to Cif. "Morning. You OK?"

((Grunan only existed because I needed something to match Alka's power (as in the character Alka), since then I have been quietly nerfing him through increasing numbers of side-effects...))

Cifero nodded at Grunan; today he had a blue bow in his hair and was wearing more feminine clothes, in this case a tank top, a pair of girl's jean shorts, and a flowy long-sleeved shirt that nearly covered the shorts due to its length. "Yeah, just peachy," he said, chopping up some bananas and strawberries to add to his cereal. "How about you?"


(O-O Well, the thing with Tulip just got pretty dark, didn't it?)

"No..."

Geoff opened his eyes and stared at the crystal...

"Grunan..."

He quickly walked out of his apartment to the snake. Maybe he had an idea of what was happening...

((Well, he's more of a challenge for me. If I can bring him in, you'll see why. We're talking about power here, so I thought I'd bring up a concept I have *shrug* Also, Cif. I want to give you a handshake for than pun.))


*The crystal continued to remain 'dead'. As dead as a crystal can be anyway*
