I notice the sun in my eyes and wake up, I float back down to the quad waiting for Angder to wake up.

Angder looked up groggily, he had not slept... "They are gaurding the ford... I think they know we crossed it, we have no choice but to... to..." Angder rubbed his eyes. "Damn... I should have gotten some bloody sleep."

I looked around and had an idea. My eyes began glowing cyan and I lifted both Angder and the quad with me.

"AH!" Angder yelps loudly as he is lifted, one of the Venogi must have heard, as it begins to walk slowly in the direction of the Quad...

Angder peers down over the edge of the quad. he pulls his axe off his back. "OK... your lifting the Quad right?" Angder asks "Otherwise I am Really scared. As opposed to just scared of the Venogi..."

The Venogi spots the tracks in the dirt, and starts to follow them up towards Were Angder and chains are...

I was consternating to much to be able to answer. I was trying not to drop Angder or the quad as I flew over the Venogi.

The venogi reaches the point where the quad lifted, and looks up. The thing screeches and leaps climbing a nearby tree, and preparing to jump to the quad. Angder readies his axe. "OK... don't get bitten... got it" Angder swings his axe as the thing flies towards him

getting high enough, I start moving towards the river. my head started hurting and I was struggling to keep them up.
"Don't let go." I think to myself.

A couple more Venogi approach, climbing the trees to get in jumping range of the quad. "DAMN! More of 'em"

Angder pulls his revolver, and starts shooting them as they approach. readying his axe for when they get up close. "3... 4... how many of you are there..."

One of them leaps up, and grabs onto the bottom of the quad, it starts tearing into the bottom of the quad with its claws.

I drop altitude from the extra weigh.
"Gah!" I exclaim not expecting something to jump on.

As we drop more of them are able to jump, Angder gets a nasty cut when one of them manages to claw his face, another comes from behind, Angder only just forces that one off, throwing it into the river, but not before it tears into his back. "Ca... can't... take many more of these..."
