Tomorrow is an adverb.  Morrow is a noun.  So you would say "On the morrow" to mean tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure tomorrow came from the word morrow.  I have even read a couple classic books where it was hyphenated.  Like to-morrow and to-day.

Okay, I actually guessed the names right.
It's cool stuff. Even though it's slightly weird since it's a bit different in polish. And I never thought about it, just took it for granted.

Albie!

Use the power of.....

GOOGLE!

The word “cookie” comes from the Dutch “koekjes” which came from the Dutch “koek”, meaning “cake”; cookie was introduced to English in the very early 18th century. It is thought this term caught on more in the United States due to the strong Dutch heritage in earlyAmerica.

It's super effective!
And also true, brits call cookies biscuits. And even though I usually prefer British English, I refuse calling my favourite snack a biscuit XD

Here a biscuit is more like a flaky roll.  So that is what I thought British biscuits were for the longest time.  I couldn't figure out how a flaky roll goes with tea.

*googles flaky roll* oh this.
I always thought biscuits are something more fancy that you'd serve with tea as more of a dessert, not a snack. But as far as i know now it's the same.
