Another one from Sen ah great! Welp i've been trying for this girl for several months after her last break up. It ended with her not being able to trust anyone. I believe she's slowly starting to get over it but I can't help but winner wether I should even try anymore. I'm joining the army once i'm out of high school and that's in about a year. Which is when she said she might not even think if dating for a year. I don't think she knows i'm joining the army, and if she does, I don't know if she's putting 2 &2 together. I feel as though even if we did date a couple of months before I went to boot camp wouldn't be nearly enough to secure a relationship. Help me please

im going to join the RAF next year im gonna do a scholarship so i have to do at least 5 years of service which i think will start when im 18 so ill be 23 when im out and all im saying is that if you do something similar to me it would have to be a relay strong relation to hold up because being away from each other for that length of time will put stress on any relation ok you have social media but if you explain your situation to her and see how she reacts you should be able to gauge weather or not it would work
but if it is a strong relation go for it but remember tell her you situation first

You may not realise just now much you get paid and how many benefits there are to joining the army.

On topic: my best friend got into a relationship about a year and a few months before he went to basic and when he came back he proposed.

In your case a few months actually is a long time if you spend it correctly.

My advice: Long distance relaitonships are hard, and joining the army will make your relationship a long distance one
 
LDR's aren't impossible, but it just means she has to be really worth it and you have to be really worth it to her for it to work.

Also, before you get into a relationship with her, make sure she understands you'll be leaving to the army, she's had heartbreak before so no need to spring it on her as a surprise.

The USA (not even where I'm from) treats their veterans like crap
They jailed this guy from the army FOR LIFE for having 0.1 grams of marijuana. Doesnt that say something about how they treat their veterans?

in the uk their rely good they treat everyone very well they you st to gas us but now they have stopped that and we stay in very nice places they are like travell lodges and very good they don't rely care hear so i say go for it
