The guards led Zaida to her room, which could be easily considered a place worth staying in as opposed to a cell. The green malachite floor was polished to a shine, stretching across the octagonal room and reflecting the sunlight, which emanated from a steel framed window, across the forest-engraved oak walls with a slight green tint. The round-edged octagonal table was fashioned from a seamless teal crystal, with legs of steel resembling the roots of an ancient tree and the tablecloth colored a deep emerald green, as was fitting of the Earth Kingdom. Crystals of a faint sky blue shone from their polished steel holders on the walls, and the bed, seperate in another small room, followed the style of the table, with legs of steel roots and sheets of deep emerald.
The guards left with barely a sound, leaving the sergal with the echo of the door's intricate mechanisms as it clicked shut.
