"how hard can it be?" with that, and a couple of powerful down strokes, she was airborne. It was only seconds until she broke the canopy and was in the open air. She set off to find a thermal to gain more altitude.

"Wolves, bobcats, indigenous life" kabel said sarcastically "plenty can go wrong here huh? Also, you think i should go with her?"

"I will wait here, I will try to keep close to here but I might as well look a little, right?" He then starts to wander within close proximity of the log.

 "Right, be right back" kabel spreads his wings and takes off after peppa, flapping his wings in long strokes to get top speed

//I'll go too// Gary spread his wings and then winced in pain, when he inspected his wing he found that a twig was tearing through the skin //nevermind//

Jackal watches Shast move around for a second before he continues to keep an eye out on the close area around him. Not moving away from the spot they all met. He looks toward Gary and chuckles a bit. //I hope you know I can speak. Its a choice that I prefer not too//

"Ouch, looks like it stings, I might be able to get it out and keep it from getting infected." He then inspects the wing.

Hearing a set of wings behind her, peppa turned her head half way around to look at Kabel. "hey, bird! Sup." she said.

It was extremely faint, almost unnoticeable, but the ground seemed to methodically rumble.

"Not much, my fellow bird. Other than us of course"he laughed a little "anyway, see anything yet?" He looked back down

Jackal look toward Gary and signed.
//I'm sure you'll be fine// He then turns and continues to keep an eye out.

Shast then looks at Gary. "Once we get somewhere sheltered, I can have that fixed, the process will vary depending what we are supplied with, we can't have infection or bleeding."

"Well, the industrial area must be something." she said, slightly sarcastic. "but there's smoke, so I think we should avoid it. There looks like an abandoned town that way, so we can go there I think."

The rumbling gradually got louder. It was noticeable to those on the ground now.

"Good call, might even be a food supply store. Assuming it hasnt all rotted" kabel nodded "but, we should make sure nothing else lives there first"
