"Someone get its attention!" Shast holsters his guns and pulls out his dual blades. He glances back at Jackel to bekon him.

The bulwark fired a plasmatic mortar that overshot by miles. The hail of bullets didn't cease.

Jackal peeks out again. Putting on his hood. He runs out to the side of the bulwark. Whistling loudly to get it's attention while he jumps up and down.

[Little F]

Gary points his gun over the rock and blindly fires at the bulwark trying to confuse it.

[Shast Averin]

Shast jumps up and sprints to the bulwark during the confusion, slicing its legs with his metal slicing blade, then slices the of wepons to make it defencless, for study.

Jackal walks up to Shast and the bulwark. Staring down at it. His knife still in his hand. The scarf still covering most of his face. "Well...now we know what's out there"

Everything had occurred so quickly, Anaru only had a split second to respond to the threat. Thus shortly before its destruction at the hands of the one who called himself Shast and another who had wandered into the clearing, he dove off to the side in order to be underneath the hail of hell fire. He had never experienced anything quite like the beast that had risen from the ground.

"Well," he mumbled as he picked himself back up and dusted off his scales. He carefully checked his injured wing and saw that no more damage had been done before turning back to the gathered group. "What was that creature?"

He carefully moved closer to it as Jackal and Shast did, eyeing it curiously and feeling rather tempted to touch it. So strange.

Jackal watches Anaru approach. Smiling a bit before turning back to the machine that sits still on the ground. Jackal kicks it with a soft chuckle before responding to Anaru's question. "I have no idea."

"Agh I see yall killed one" I say from the shadows "there's two more down the hill if yall wanna scavenge so" I say as I'm reloading my 44. "What are we here for anyone know?" I pull a flask out of my pocket and take a swig of the strong whiskey

[Shast Averin]

"I would but, I need to wait here for some of our group to get back." Shast says while stepping a fee feet back.

Jackal lifts an eyebrow at the man. Asking from behind his scarf. "May I have a swig?" He motions toward the flask in his hand.

Staring into the flask "sure go easy though it's strong" handing him my flask

[Shast Averin]

"By the end of this we will all smell like whiskey." Shast then takes his cigarette out of his mouth to see that it was grazzed with a round. "Too close." Shast then lights another cigarette and smokes.

Jackal takes the flask and pulls down his scarf revealing the tattoo along his cheeks. Going ear to ear making a wide grin. Jackal then takes a swig of the drink. Swallowing it and handing it back over. "Thanks"
