Angder pulls himself onto his bed, it hurts a little. He would have to just get used to that.
Angder stares up at the ceiling... something moved out of the corner of his eye. He reaches for the hand crossbow he hides behind his bed, carefully looking out the window. A small creature, probably an imp, was watching him from above the forest. It had flown higher than it should have, and its hands had burst into flame as it cast a spell, letting Angder see it. Dumb creature.
Angder sighs, and puts the crossbow back as the creature dives into the trees. Soon, every demon would know he was no longer a threat. If he was lucky he would be ignored, treated as any other civilian. If not...
These next few months could be hard.
