Grunan stands in the doorway, watching the two talk, listening in.

Xander silently and non nonchalantly stretched out and arm and poked Geoff's chest, watching Geoff's face as he does. "If it's not so bad, then this shouldn't hurt right? If not, stop lying. You're safety is kinda important."

[The Past]

Geoff winced, but he tried to hold his reaction back. "Ach, yeah, I know, I just, I--"
He sighed and rubbed his head.

[Angder]

Grunan steps forward "I have a suspicion I am listening into something private. Well, nevermind this seems interesting." Grunan states. "Geoff. Xander has a point. If you need help, you should ask for it."

[Grovygrunge]

Xander stood up and shrugged. "I'm not gonna force you to accept my help if you don't want it. Just don't die. I will be more than pissed if you do. Also, Hi snake wizard."

[The Past]

"I don't need help now. It's over and done with. Wounds can heal. I just need to rest up for a while and prepare."

Geoff groaned as he pushed himself up. "Thank you for your concern, though," he muttered as he tottered to the stairs.

Xander rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, alright then..."

Grunan watches Geoff go. "Not everything heals you know" Grunan states. She glances to Xander. "To be honest. I almost wish he does end up getting hurt more permanently." They state quietly, to quietly for Geoff to hear. "Found a new spell I want to use... been waiting for someone to lose a finger or something so I could heal it."

"You're a crazy lady... Probably why I associate with you." Xander smirked and just shrugged. "I just don't want the guy to die, he owns our home. Sorta hoping he was in danger, I'm bored as **censor**."

[Angder]

"I prefer the term mage" They state. "Though yes. If they can avoid dying that would be a good thing..." Grunan looks over at Xander, noting the eerie similarity to maxwell. "Have you ever considered doing any magic by any chance, Xander?"

[Grovygrunge]

"Not even once in my life. Closet thing I got to doing magic was when I..." Xander coughed and looked away. "Never mind. No, no I haven't. That's the long and short of it. Why?"

[The Past]

Geoff eased into his bed. He didn't want to think about what happened these recent days. Or anything at all. Luckily, he was still so tired his mind was barely capable of that to begin with, so he managed to fall asleep immediately.

[Angder]

Grunan seems to grin slightly. "Just once... What about... wait" She pauses. "You were adopted... crap." Grunan sighs. "You should try doing magic, I hear it runs in your blood."

[Grovygrunge]

"Since when was I... ugh, whatever." Xander paused as he thought. "How did you hear that? As far as I'm aware it isn't."

[Angder]

"...Your not adopted are you" Grunan mumbles something vulgar. "As for why I think its the case... Lets just say... a person climbed out of hell and is now living in room 43 on the top floor, and He looks exactly like you, so I suspect your related. Actually? do you mind if I take some of your blood. I should be able to confirm my suspicion."

Grunan pauses, thinking. "also, stay away from Maxwell, the person who I mentioned." She adds "He is not a nice person."
