Cassy stepped off the bus, luggage in hand as she looked at the complex. She felt a familiar ache in her chest as she recalled the one sad emotion that she remembered from the past two years. Every time she tried to recall what happened, she never could, but for some reason that made her sad. Walking forward, she felt the familiar weight of her necklace against her chest. The piece of jewelry, which looked like it contained a piece of fur, gave her bittersweet feelings whenever she looked at it. Despite this, she never could bring herself to take it off. She couldn't remember how she got the scar under her left eye, either, nor could she remember a great deal of other things. Sighing, Cassy shrugged and approached the apartment's front door, her body tense from apprehensiveness.
