The doctor looked up, holding the sedative in one hand. "... That's how we start," they said. "What did you think I was doing?" Sighing, the doctor quickly sedated Cassy. "Now, if I'm right, this particular organ should be closer to the kidneys, so all that I'll need to do is break the skin, carefully put it back into place, repair the abdominal wall, and suture the wound shut... No need for a huge scar or anything." The doctor smiled. "If you'd prefer that the scar wasn't there, though, I know an old remedy that can make it disappear." The doctor waited to see if Setcho had any questions. "She'll be just fine... I've operated on crats before."
