I find that healing spells use alot of mana.. although its probably different depending on what magic school you're learning it from

"Yeah, it uses a good amount of energy for me... I've only healed small cuts so far."

Zarco - Progress is progress though, and as long as you're practicing.. you should see improvements as you find better techniques to heal more efficiently
its nice to be able to see your improvements in front of your eyes, or at least it is for me.. it helps motivate me

Geoff grinned softly and nodded. "Yeah..."

He looked back at his coffee. "I wish I got into magic sooner..."

Zarco - Hmm.. its more about how much time you put into learning it than how early you start.. but yeah.. I know the feeling

*Zarco looked towards the kitchen*
I think I'm going to go get some food, I need some energy intake

Geoff looked up.

"Wh--you can eat in that form? How?"

Zarco - yeah.. the same way you do..
Food goes in,energy is produced by the food in a way..

It's a bit more complex than that but ah well

Geoff pointed a finger down to his belly.
"But you're--the food goes--Eh..."
He decided not to question. The supernatural side of the world only recently opened up to him and it was hard to wrap his head around it at this point. He'll understand stuff like this with time.

He shook his head and stood up. "Mmh, I should eat too, actually. Coffee isn't food, heh..."

*Zarco stood up and walked over to the kitchen*

Zarco - well.. it gets converted into the same matter that makes up me as of right now..
But anyways, I'm going to cook some pancakes
Would you like some?

[The Past]

"But isn't ma--"
He shook his head again. "Y-yeah, uh, sure. Thank you."

He sat down at the table and began finishing his coffee.

Zarco - *walked over to the cupboard and took the ingredients in order to make pancakes*
*he mixed the ingredients in a bowl*

<thinking> Knowing this place.. it won't only be us eating these, I better.. batter.. make some more
*Zarco giggled to himself a little*

[The Past]

Geoff snorted in amusement, setting the empty cup on the table. "Heh, batter..."

[Zarconite]

Zarco - *poured some of the batter into a frying pan and cooked a pancake*
*he placed it onto a plate when it was cooked and handed it to Geoff*
If you need any condiments, there's pretty much anything you can think of in the cupboards..
I'll have more cooked soon

Geoff smiled. "Thank you!"

He went to grab some maple syrup. "I should cook stuff for everyone sometime--I mean, I'm not an amazing cook or anything, but..."

Angder comes downstairs, and heads for the kitchen. He looked a little worn, like he had not slept.
