Geoff's mind wandered as he gazed into the pond. He should do something good for the people here. Maybe he should cook something. He wasn't the greatest chef, but he could make a good dish when he was in the mood for it. There were many tasty recipes in his journal from foods class, and with an apparently unlimited amount of ingredients in the kitchen, there was no reason not to get creative.
Maybe he should start off with making something for Alka specifically. But he didn't really know him well enough to have an idea of what he liked to eat. What if he doesn't like what he makes?
Geoff wandered into the kitchen to look at the food and think about what to cook. Smelling the bacon Arcizo was cooking, he remembered.
Bacon. Alka made that BLT for him. Maybe he likes bacon. But just because he made it for him doesn't mean he likes it himself. He probably made it for him because he assumed Geoff liked bacon. Which he did. But still.
Even if Alka did like bacon, Geoff wasn't sure he had any good recipes including bacon. Unless he just cooked bacon itself, or made a BLT just as Alka did. But that's not as fun.
Geoff seemed to be staring blankly at the pantry as he was lost in thought.
