Daisy took a seat nearby. "Oh, I'll read almost anything if the story seems good," she said, looking at the book she had chosen. "Hmm... Graceling. I've read it before, but it's a good book." The celestial wolf opened the book and smiled at the first chapter. "Some books are like old friends, you know?"

[Angder]

Angder looks down at his own book. 'night watch' "Yea... feet of clay from this series is like that for me. Always find myself rereading it, even though I know all the jokes and stuff already."

"I know," Daisy said, chuckling at something in her book. "Isn't it great?" (Terry Pratchett, then?)

Daisy chuckled and continued to read. "This room is very well-stocked, isn't it?" she said, glancing at all the bookshelves.

Angder moves over to one of the shelves, and pushes the sliding shelf so the current books entered the wall while new books emerged from the other side. "Uses magic I suspect, too many books to fit in a room this size..."

Daisy closed her book for a second and walked over to the shelves, touching them. "Hmm..." she said, closing her eyes and focusing.

[Angder]

"...I would not recommend dispelling it if I were you..." Angder says uncertainly."

"Don't worry, I'm just checking for magic," she said, pressing two fingers to her stomach. After a minute or so, a slow, pulsing flash of pink light started going off under Daisy's shirt, shortly after which the celestial wolf opened her eyes. "Yeah... definitely magical," she said, ceasing contact with the shelf. "It's pretty powerful magic, too."

"Not surprising. Some of the books are ON magic after all... I wonder if Zarc did this himself."

Daisy shrugged. "He could've," she said, flicking her pierced tail. "I've only met him once or twice, really, and not while he was doing magic." Sighing, the celestial wolf stretched her arms and wings out. "... Did you say something about books on magic?" she said suddenly, looking at Angder as his words registered in her brain.

[Angder]

"Yea... they are over there..." Angder points to a shelf not far below the one currently on demons. "You may need to slide it along a bit."

Daisy walked over to the shelf and pushed it along until the books on magic appeared. "Whoa," she said quietly, taking a moment to look at the books. "Zarco must've spent a while collecting all of these... He's got a book for nearly every type of magic."

[Angder]

"Zarc seems to have most things..." Angder states.

Daisy looked over at Angder, sliding the shelf back for now. "Yeah... he does, doesn't he?" she said, leaning against one of the bookshelves. "Perhaps he's a really powerful sorcerer...?"
