[The Past]

Geoff stood up, holding the gems with care. He may be new to the whole magic world, but he knew this had to be related.

"W-w-Are they..."

[Grovygrunge]

"Erm...well...This is normal. Are they what? What are you asking?"


"But nothing, you tried, it happened, the end. That's all there is to it. Okay?"

[Setcho]

-kye

*looked teary eyes down at angder, sniffing occasionally*

[Angder]

Angder stands up. "We... we should keep going... I am going to go do a thing." Angder heads off to the living room.

[Setcho]

-kye

*sighed and slowly made her way up the stairs looking behind her one last time*

[Zarconite]

*took a few steps back and held out his paws again*

okay try again

the universe? what do you do?

Daisy waited for Kye to return once more.




Cassy shakily took a few steps towards Setcho, only stumbling once. "Whoa!" she said, landing in Setcho's arms.

[Angder]

Angder reluctantly heads for his room. It was going to be hard to sleep.

[Arcizo]

Arcizo walks over to Geoff and suggests she keeps the gems safe.

[Setcho]

*returns to daisy still crying slightly*

*caught cassy just in time*

Addison got up and walked back to the elevator maintenance room. He glanced at Xander impatiently. Xander raised a finger up at him in response. "wait a minute would you? Jeez someone died. Starting to think I was a bad influence." He glanced the gems. "So erm...what are we gonna do with those then?"

[The Past]

Geoff held the gems securely in his palm. "They're related to Zarco, I know that much..."

He remembered Zarco ordered a gem to put his friend's soul in. But these just spawned out of apparently thin air. It made no sense to him, but from what he knew so far about the nature of magic, it was best to keep an open mind about this sort of thing.

He stepped up the stairs to the lobby.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander and Addison glanced at each other then walked to the steps outside, both of them took a seat on the steps. Addison was quite a bit shorter than Xander, yet they were roughly the same age. "So...Hey there."

"Hey, brother..."


"Rough day, huh?"

"Most exciting thing that's happened to me in a while."


"Good. Means you're toning it down then. Setting yourself straight. Right?"


Xander remained quiet after that statement.

[Arcizo]

Arcizo decides to head up to his room. 'What an interesting first day' he thinks. He lies down on his couch and falls asleep.

[The Past]

Geoff walked up the stairs to his apartment and set the gems gently on the table beside his bed. He lay on his bed and shut off the lamp. The gems' glow seemed to brighten in the darkness. The only person he knew who might understand this was Ciara. It will have to wait until morning. He kept his eyes on the glow as he tried to fall asleep.
