"Absolutely wonderful," she said, stretching her body out as much as she could. As she did, she revealed a small scar on her stomach that was situated about three inches above her belly button, near her solar plexus. "How about you?"

*Alka yawned* Alka: Probably not as good as yours. *Alka continued to cuddle Clare*

"Train?" Even though they were in a training zone, the idea caught Alexander off guard. What with? Firearms? Hand to hand? The thought went to the blade at his hip. No, surely not... "I'm not sure I'm following. I'm a hobbyist, the days of the blade are long gone... I mean, when someone can simply shoot you in the chest and call it done, swordsmanship as an actual combat tool kind of disappeared. And I'm no martial artist either..."

Clare murred and wrapped her arms around Alka, gently kneading his back and feeling his fur. "Mmmm.... Perhaps," she said, kissing his nose.

Daisy chuckled. "You'd be surprised how useless guns are here," she said, rubbing the back of her head. "I could teach you some stuff, if you'd like me to."

*Alka chuckled* Alka: Sleep just seems to want to evade me these days... *Alka kissed Clare's lips gently and his eyes turned a light pink*

Clare blushed slightly and kissed Alka back, looking into his eyes. "...Why do you think that is?"

Something about those words made the buck halt a moment. It was so... Matter of fact. Almost as though the young girl fully expected to get into a fight, maybe even done so, with things outside his comprehension, and would probably treat it like a Tuesday morning at the office. "I... Alright.", Alex manages back, still stumbling to regain his composure in the face of it all, even as he steps toward the zone Daisy had pointed out only moments ago. "Sure, I suppose. But, the residents are security as well? More and more, this sounds like madness..."

Daisy put her arms behind her head and walked forward, deciding that it would be best to not let him know about her magic yet. "Well, normally it's just this one demon hunter guy who actually does that for a job," she said. "The apartments don't really get attacked. Weird stuff happens, that's all." She looked over his shoulder. "As for madness, some of the best people are mad."

"Demon hunter? Like what, the apartments have their own Illidan?" Seeming to unwind a bit, Alexander crosses the area, turning partway down to face the lupine who spoke of such silly notions. "Now I know you're messing with me." Reaching down, he pulls his blade free, a very simple thing, clearly built as a training or sparring blade rather than any tool of war or ornate companion. Hobbyist, indeed. "Well, if you say so..."

Clare smiled back, gently rubbing Alka's stomach a little. "Do you want to talk about it?" she asked.




Daisy picked up a training sword similar to the curved blade she was used to and bowed politely to Alexander. "Alright... just come at me for now," she said. "I'll parry."

*Alka shook his head* Alka: Nah... It's nothing too pressing. Besides, I'd rather spend the time I have with you, not moping about my problems. *Alka chuckled and nuzzled Clare*

Clare chuckled and hugged Alka close, nuzzling him back. "That sounds perfect," she said. "Hmm... shall we start by staying here and cuddling?"
