Geoff was still unable to stay asleep. He tossed and turned, thinking.
He couldn't believe a child was here, going through this hell. And the boy seemed to be doing relatively okay, given all he has apparently dealt with.
This was the final kick in the rear that kept Geoff's tormenting thoughts at bay. He felt it was his duty to help keep this kid safe. And this whole humble little camp. But there was one thing he needed to take care of first.
