The Downfall

[Naval]

"I get that...well hey I found something!" He said holding a bottle of Dr.Pepper......"The number on it is J.U.N. 23...what does that mean?" He said looking at you..

[Chains]

"Well, J.U.N woudl probably be the month while 23 is the day." I say thinking. "If I had to say, I would say that is the expiration date.

[Farewell]

"There is just a small bit, it doesn't infect but still worries me..." She sighed and the gas asked released some steam "but wearing this mask does bother me a bit" she slowly to it off showing her face, her snout showing a scar slashed across it.

[Chains]

I wince a little at the scare. "So that is what you look like under there." I say trying to make her laugh.

[The Past]

"that's the expiration date," Geoff said. "It means June 23rd... or... June 2023... I can't remember which..."

((Chains, they aren't near you.   Also, is that year accurate, Zaida? ))

[Farewell]

"Mhm" she said seeing the mask on the side and taking a small bite of the meat. (Yea about right love)

[Naval]

(ANyways' I'm sleepy soo nigh.) ""Aww... I love suugar...well it's ok." He tosses it and walks by your side, wherever you go tiring to help however he can...

[Chains]

Geoff continued exploring with Zilla, in a surprisingly good mood.

Zaida looked out the window seeing the two. "Where they going?" She said her ears leaned back and eyebrow raised and her eyes glowed brighy and she took a small bite of the meat again

[Angder]

Angder wakes up, and glances around. "Where is everyone?"

[The Past]

Geoff and Zilla continued exploring, picking up useful (or interesting) objects along the way.

The stuff Geoff removed from his backpack remained on the floor of the base in a pile: some clothes, a few notebooks (two with his name written on them), and a tablet and its charger.

[Angder]

Angder moves over to the notebooks, and, seeing no-one else around, starts to read through it.

[The Past]

Two of the notebooks were apparently school notebooks; one from high school and another from an earlier grade, with information quickly jotted down. All three of the books were filled with doodles, scribbles, and incomplete stories. There were many pages where only a few sentences were written, or stopped mid-sentence and never completed, reflecting a disorganized mind.

While some of the stories seemed lighthearted, the most complete were rather dark. One of which was about a cat trying to find his friends in a winter wasteland and desperately fighting off a giant grotesque beast, but ending up  beat up and apparently left to freeze to death.
Another story seemed somewhat recent, about a curious guy forcing his friend and girlfriend to join him on an attempt to explore and document a dangerous territory against their wishes, which results in their deaths. The guy survives, writhing in guilt, and... well, it was left unfinished, but it hinted at what was to happen next.
