As she took of he called out, "Hey! Angela, Wait!" He held an arm out, letting it fall down as she ran off out of sight. He sighed, thinking, I hope she's alright. It might be dangerous here alone, what with the tremors and all. I shouldn't have let her run off...what if there are poisonous creatures or predators here?. He resolved to go after her. He put the fortunately unharmed berries into his handkerchief and tied it up, then tying it to his belt. He looked around and saw an ideal branch for a walking stick laying on the ground, so he picked it up. It had snapped off of the tree above, so one end was sharp. He used the dull end on the ground to preserve the edge, since he didn't know what sort of animals might be further in the isle. All he had seen so far was birds, insects, and squirrels, but there were bound to be predators. He walked off into the direction she went, following the broken twigs and other things she had left in her wake.
