Besides Nemael! You can't blame him! A non-paranoid thief is usually a dead one! Especially one that stole from kings, nobles, aristrocats, Paladin Orders, cultist, ect. He's bound to have assassins or thugs looking for him!

Am I the only one who's thinking... tactical retreat? If the Wild Mage is second guessing himself, it's a good sign it's time to bail out and make some preperations to deal with him at a later time .

Plus, while Neshar is playing his slave card, he could do a bit of first aid on yall .

I wouldn't bail necessarily, we just need to figure out if anyone has an ability that could punch through heavy armor. Xavier is terribly ineffective against large, heavilly armored beasts unless he can find weak spots. His magic is kenetic-force based and he doesn't use weapons, so something of that size with that much armor probably would only be annoyed by him. Mort and Silas will probably have an easier time against him with their bladed weapons, and Drake has a spell arsenal, so something he has would probably be useful.

To be sure it's going to be a dangerous fight, but if it wasn't then what fun would that be?

Neshar does... he can telefrag the damned thing and blow it's skull open after plunging an anchored arrow in it's eye. But that's really messy... not to mention can prove nearly fatal if the creature is small. He won't do it much... as there's quite a bit of risk with reward... and... it's really... really messy.

Well there is usually weaknesses to every armor. And in this case it would be the joints and underside. If you are asking why just look at insects.

Fantasy insects are as tanky as turtles! Just be glad it wasn't a giant crab!

Those things' claws can tear through a tank!

Oh and Cyril. The thief's location is on the creature's back. Unless the group is all on it's back. I don't think you can shield them both. Or really need to worry about the arrows as they aren't likely to fly in their direction.

I would like to quickly note I am making such quick posts so Mort can get in the middle of the action this time around instead of left out of it like previously. If this is annoying any of you, I apologize now, though it will stop once Mort is (literally) on top of the beast-y. I do not like seeing people left out in RPs, regardless of the situation. ^^;

Not really. Bomb arrows will be enough. Can't imagine anyone lugging around a ballista and only use it once.

Yeah I noticed as well that some people are quite a bit slower to post and are missing a round here and there, which is why I've been trying to leave gaps in the action.
