I don't know if this is unique or not, but when I watch/play something in a language I don't understand with the subtitles on, after a few minutes I stop noticing the subtitles and hear the dialogue in English with the accent of whatever language the media is actually in.

That's really really common actually, is the fascinating power of our incontrollable conscious mind, which is always trying yo make life around us more understandable, to give a sense to everything.

I still think thunder is relaxing... just saying. Maybe it's only me.

I used to have no issues with thunder before.
Then I ended up being stuck out at sea in a small boat during a foggy rainy and windy thunderstorm.
It's one of the more frightening experiences I've had in my life, even tho nothing bad happened.
Or well, it revived the old fear of thunder I had as a child. But that's a relatively small issue compared to what -could- have happened.

I'm sure by now most will know that I listen to Metal music, there is one song I love that isn't metal or rock - I do listen to it occasionally, that song is 'Relax' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood - I will never listen to it when others are near me.

I'm the kind that dislikes having subtitles on, I find them too distracting - I do like watching the subtitles once to give me an idea of what is being said (especially since I like watching Pokemon anime in Japanese).  I get extremely annoyed when I can't turn them off.

I have a cut on my neck, probably from my dog who always jumps in my bed in the morning to wake me up. Hes a cute mix of pitbull and pug. Straight black.

I wish I could be loud sometimes... but I have a personal limiter on how loud I can get.
Yeah, I'm always looking to customize SOMETHING no matter what it is.
