Random info: I believe that people's perceptions of a God or Gods (name, gender, one/many, appearance, laws) are irrelevant, because we have no way of knowing for sure such specifics of a divine being. People can believe as they wish provided that their beliefs don't involve harming others. Me, I believe that the divine can be found through nature, particularly plants, and that peace for mankind will come through true equilibrium with the natural world. That's why I'm particularly fond of Native American beliefs. Since I still find comfort in giving a name to the divine, I refer to it or they as "Shima" (a native American dialect word for mother: mother earth reference).
