Even tho I -should- know the procedure inside and out by now, I always feel really nervous when approaching a new artist for a commission.
I also feel really nervous when approaching a "familiar" artist for a commission.
So far, noone's told me I'm a horribly demanding and rude person with horribly sick ideas and a horribly awful character and that I should just go find another hobby that doesn't involve me pestering other people with my (control)-freakiness, so I guess I don't really have a reason to worry at all.
It's still just really hard to shake that feeling that I'm unintendingly ruining someone's day by asking them to draw X when they really couldn't care less about X and would really rather be drawing pretty much the rest of the alphabet instead.
