The main point to be stressed about that is lack of parenting.
Children may do what they see, but mostly if they've not been taught better or lack the proper supervision.
Smart kids do dumb stuff even with plenty of guidance and aren't mindless lemmings either.

True... but if you're taught 'one thing' constantly for most of your life, then someone (doesn't exactly matter who) tells you that 'one thing' was wrong, what would you be thinking? Probably that "No, you're wrong." would be the first thing to come to mind. I'm just saying that cartoons/anime are a 'way of life' for kids nowadays and they 'teach' most of the things that should be taught by those holding the status of 'parent' (legal guardians included). Don't get me wrong, not all anime/cartoons are bad... I learned how to read through them.
