Any target species? Hybrids? Mythology or something of the sort might give you a good amount of ideas to build from.

Welcome :)

I recommend looking into which animal you think symbolises you the most and then go with it from there. It also doesn't have to be one animal, but a hybrid of several or even a new species all together.
I chose a falcon because it represents wisdom, far sight, freedom, speed and nobility.

From there its choosing the colour scheme and markings if any.
You can create you own character's history and back story too if you want to take it to the next level.
