I do this on all the AMA's.

We have a particle moving in the x direction, it's velocity is given by the equation

v = x (v = velocity, x = displacement)

What is its acceleration?

Here's a bit of a harder one.

(The units for this expression are in natural units, this means the speed of light is given as "1")

Say we had a spaceship zooming through space, at t = 0 the spaceships coordinates is given as (0, 0). A star, located at coordinates (0, 10) explodes at t = 0, the light from the stars explosion moves in every direction with a speed of 1.  The spaceships velocity is given as (0.5, 0) (IE: Moving at half the speed of light in the positive x-direction).

How far does the spacecraft move from the origin (0, 0) when the light from the exploding star hits it?
