Cifero crept up carefully behind Zaida, glancing over her shoulder. "I see it too," he said, sniffing the air. "Either way, we should probably proceed with caution, if this place is as advanced as you said it was. That light could be a trap."

Cifero nodded and turned around himself. "Turn around, everyone," he said, loud enough for everyone in the vents to hear but not loud enough that it echoed.

Zaida cracked her bone turning around the vent and crawling away from the area. "We have to get past the smoke. It looks like it's blowing into the execution room... But past the blowing smoke seems to be a way out. Or at least out of the vents and into the hall"
