[The Past]

ARCTICLAW finally sprang into action, plunging its claws into the shark and releasing an electric shock into the massive creature.

((This only affects the shark, by the way, it can't travel through the water to the other mechs.))

The shock discharged harmlessly into the sharks thick hide... until it hit one of the holes left by ray. Suddenly the entire shark flails in the water, convulsing, and then, combined with being shot, slashed, and blinded, finally the creature dies... going limp, and starting to fall to the ocean floor.

"No lifesign from the shark, we got it." Lynda reports. Sunderland grins for a second, then remembers what the pressing issue is now. "This is Sunderland to the medical wing, we have an emergency situation, prepare the infirmary for Ray. We are sending what we know about his condition now."

At a nod, Lynda switches Sunderland to the Mechs. "This is Sunderland. Do not attempt to retrieve the corpse, its too big for us to store. Return to base, a group of submarines will be~ has been dispached to study it." He states, calmly.

*ZERTEX powered down his rifle and de-activated his shoulder artillery cannons*

"Does anyone here need any help before I return to base?"

"hmm... actually if you have the fuel I would not mind you investigating the wreckage of the ship, see if you can find supplies"

Red Condor reaches the base stopping with a loud sound, landing near the medical ward, opening the medivac comparte "This is Red Condor, we reach the base... Ray is still alive, I repeat Still alive..."

I fall into the controls to rest for a while, as the computer enters in autopilot, after seeing the medics takes Ray inside the complex

((In answer to Obeys question, you could, the technology certainly exists, but why would you want to? It would risk damaging the wall, and be of no benefit versus simply flying you over.))

Ray groaned, and woke up in the medical ward. He looked about, groggily.

Xander shook his head and quickly had TIFFANY swim to the surface. "Woah...okay so what happened towards the end there?"


There was a repetitive squeaking inside the command center, like a hinge which needed oiling. It happened every few seconds, and it was coming from just behind the commander and Lynda. Squeak. A slight pause. Squeak. There it was agai- Squeak.

"We do not need further assistance, the reinforc~*Squeak*" Sunderland spins round, knowing full well who it is. "What is it this time? Tell me its nothing too bad. we have HAD our excitement for today."

A rather lanky and tall fox stopped spinning around in his chair, perched on it rather strangely. He let out an awkward cough and slowly went into a normal sitting position. "Well commander Sunderland, I can report with utmost certainty that the fun that The Official Wall Inspector Terrance Philips was having has been been ruined." He paused and smiled at the commander. "That is all."


Medics were leaning over Ray, checking him over again, trying to find out what exactly was wrong. It was obvious he probably needed a CAT scan to check if there was any damage to his brain.

[Angder]

Sunderland takes a few steps towards Terrance. "We have just fought off a giant SHARK. Retrieved an injured mech pilot. As we speak our Mechs are making our way back home as heroes."

"and you are spinning in your chair."

"Can you explain, why you have not been fired yet?" Sunderland asks. Tapping his foot.

Terrance thought for a moment. "Because...You don't know shit about mechs or technicians and I'm the only one here who is okay with monitoring even the tiniest changes in a giant wall of ice. Any further questions? No? Great. Good talk, buddy." He went to patt the commander's shoulder but hesitated and slowly pulled it back.
