Ray's ear twitched, as the scanner in his living room started to chatter. He sighed, and started removing his vest. "Nevermind, we'll move tomorrow, miss Zanthe."

[Grovygrunge]

Xander punched Geoff's arm repeatedly as he gripped his wrist with his now empty hand, growling loudly. He looked over at Setcho as he entered the store, eyes widening as he saw the police pulled up outside. Getting desperate he tried to stand up. He was getting out of here even if he had to drag Geoff with him.

[Setcho]

*stepped forward refusing to let him leave the shop*

[The Past]

Geoff growled in pain, his grip loosening. The heavy bear refused to budge and attempted to grab the thief's arm with his other hand.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander saw his opportunity and leapt for it, he got up to his feet and jumped over the bear.  He made a beeline straight for the back door, barging through it and into a back alley, slamming the door shut behind him. He looked around the alleyway. He spotted a dumpster just under a fire escape. Block the door, or jump up, or lastly run down the alley and hope they don't cut me o- yeah no that's a terrible idea.

[Setcho]

*ran after him, almost being hit by the door, and rushed to get it open again*

[The Past]

Geoff watched the lion chase after the thief, wanting to follow, but since he was a terrible runner he knew he wouldn't be able to catch up.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander clambered up onto the dumpster and jumped for the ladder to the fire escape. He quickly climbed up the ladder, making it to the fire escape quickly and starting to sprint up it.

[Setcho]

*opened the door, and saw him climbing up*

oi stop!

[Angder]

Angder had heard the commotion, and rushes over to the shop, too late to see Xander. He rushes to the front of the store, he notices Geoff. "What just happened?!" Angder asks.

[The Past]

"A robber... just ran off," he grunted as he stood up.

[Angder]

"Which way, and how long ago?" Angder asks, preparing to run.

[Grovygrunge]

Xander kept sprinting up the fire escape quickly getting to the top of the roof. "Bit late for that now isn't it?" He yelled down to Setcho.


The police push past Setcho and look up at the fire escape as Xander disappeared from their view. A few took chase after him while others stayed down on the ground.

[The Past]

Geoff pointed toward the back door. He decided to follow Angder, although he likely won't be able to keep up.

[Angder]

Angder dashes out the back, and down the alleyway.
