"Yea sure-" He paused. "Prisoner" Devin mumbled with confusion, his brows furrowed. "Wait what do you mean? What's going on?" He asked.

Zanthe sighed. "Hopefully, nothing that will compromise you," she said, resisiting breaking the fourth wall to say that the plot had compromised things.

[Farewell]

He thought for a second "Uh sure..." Devin nodded. "I'll text you the address to the safe house then."

"Alright... When do you need me at that meeting?" she murmured, keeping an eye on the combat.

[Tina]

The spider in a blink of an eye teleported right in front of kammy and faster then most people could follow with their eyes unleashed a barrage of punches and quick jabs. Kammy having supernatural speed as well was able to keep up her defense but couldn't throw a singld punch.


With its second set  of arms the spider started making punches towards zanthe to direct the Ki wisps to attack. They shot at Zanthe like bullets as more appeared beside the spider...which the more ki wisps that seemed to leave the spider grasp also seemed to do a little bit of pain to it as well. In other words her ki wisps were a double edged sword.

"Uh probably in two hours?" He said looking at his watch. "Again, if you're able to go."

[Tina]

Clare raised an eyebrow. "After you, then," she said, standing with her arms crossed.




Cassy walked along beside Ruby, carrying a number of things. "It shouldn't be too far," she whispered to the peacock.




Cifero walked behind the girls, since he could afford to die.




Zanthe, outside now, noticed the spirit energy swirling around the spider. "...Also, can you take a prisoner?" she murmured into the phone.

"Don't worry it's close...but not what you expect." Sierra went into an old run down church. She lead us down some stairs and into the basement where in the back there was a massive stone door with holy wards on it.

"Alright... Hold on just a second," Zanthe said, dodging some ki wisps as she noted the pain that they caused the spider. Moving quickly, the catfox set about dodging the wisps, though some of them did graze her body in non-vital places... though this would not really hurt her all that much.


Cassy raised an eyebrow. "Holy wards?" she murmured, looking at the entrance. "What are you guys expecting...?"

[Tina]

"Nothing to big...but these wards prevent pretty much anyone who doesn't know the code to get in. Now...Maelstrom!" Sierra says and the door began to open. However as it did there was someone on the other side...an anthro wearing a skill mask, hooded black jacket and dark blue pants.
"...Hello loves...and former lover." The man says directly to Sierra with a hint of venom in his voice.

Cassy tensed up and quickly drew her knife, holding it behind her.


Cifero did the same, but made no pretense of hiding it. "How did you get in there?" he asked.

[Tina]

"Yes how did i get in here? Better quest yet, if i was able to get in here...how really safe is this "Safe house" if someone was able to break in before you even got here?" The man said and Sierra looked pissed. Ruby held a  pair of fireballs in her hands expecting this to go south.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Sierra demanded. The man simply chuckled
"Who am i...i think you should be asking that question about yourself. After all...i know exactly who you are." As he said that sierra's eyes went wide.


(Also i was going to tell you she isn't immune to magic...she just has a strong resistance to certain spells that affect the mind. The reason your knife didn't cut the webs is because they are as strong steel fibers.)

(Mind and body. Technically, she should be resistant to other magics as well, but she was not properly trained in that.)




Cassy prepared the shield spell she had been perfecting for weeks.


Cifero raised an eyebrow, not standing down. "Then let's sit down and talk," he said. "We can skip the unpleasantries."




 

[Tina]

(oh I didn't think of that then yeah she probably is.)


"Ah yes talking is the preferred method here...besides the reason I am here is to actually give a warning and tell you where you can find yourself." Sierra looked shocked and was about to say something, but the man raised his hand for silence. "The next time we meet I will be forced to try and kill you all, but until then I think the city's museum has gotten it's hands on a set of medieval artifacts from Japan...including an old tomb."


The spider hissed and start jabbing it's towards Zanthe. However, having to focus on two targets ment that kammy could finally fight back. Kammy charged her fist with necrotic power and punched the spider sapping it's strength and feeding herself.

Zanthe continued to duck, roll, and dodge around the attacks, looking like something out of an anime.




Cifero raised an eyebrow, then pulled his shirt up to show the circular wound around his navel. "Does this mark look familiar?" he asked.
