Acension Revival

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Gaia pulled it away. "Not yet. I've got to pay for it first. Seeing as how you've taken an interest in this, it'll be your food for the day." Gaia picked out a few large packs of jerky and proceeded to the checkout, the guy at the till raising his eyebrow at Raz.

Raz seemed disappointed when Gaia stopped him, but he still tried to get the bags as they walked, managing to get one, holding it in his maw and looking at the guy at the till with the bag in his mouth.

Gaia sighed. "Must really be hungry." She looked over at the guy at the till, saying "Just add an extra one, thanks. It's all I'm buying today."

"Neat pet you got there." The man said, as he scanned and loaded the other bags of jerky into a bigger plastic one. "That'll be $15.25"


Gaia showed her card and the man took it, swiping it for her before returning it. "Savings?"

"Yes thanks."

Raz managed to get the bag in his maw open, and then immediately starting to eat the contents. His eating was sloppy, pieces falling out of the bag and such.

Al shook his head. "I don't remember you ever mentioning it." The wolf kept his head straight, but was thinking aloof behind the scene. Care... Can't remember the last time I did that.

Clare nodded briefly, glancing around. "Well... It's a long story, so if you've got anything else to say, say it now," she said, glancing over at Al. Has he ever loved anyone before...? she thought to herself.


A grey cat in a baggy sweatshirt and jeans, who had just finished checking out in a different lane, stopped to look at Raz for a moment. Her blue gaze was somewhat unreadable, but a grin showed that she at least found some amusement in the situation. (Character sheet will come in time....)

Gaia input her pin and skipped asking for a receipt. When she noticed the messy eating style Raz had chosen to adopt she got a slight bit annoyed. "Hey! If you're going to be impatient, at least eat the jerky properly." She made sure to keep the other bags well away from Raz's reach. After putting her card back into her purse, she noticed the grey cat. "Sorry about the mess... poor thing has been starved."


Nothing came to Al's mind. Or more, nothing he wanted Clare knowing. "You may continue."

Raz didn't pay any attention to Gaia's remark, but stopped and met the grey cat's gaze, and he stopped eating, getting scared as he tried to hide behind Gaia, dropping the bag from where he was. The bag falling either into the bag or other jerkys, or onto the floor, Raz didn't see.

The cat raised her head slightly, regarding Gaia with a blue gaze. "Oh, it's fine by me," she said. "I don't work here." She let out a soft chuckle.

Gaia bent down to pick up the now empty bag of jerky from which Raz ate, bending her knees instead  of her back so that Raz wouldn't fall off. As she stood up straight again, she met the cats gaze with her own green eyes. "I'm just glad he didn't get any on you."

[Razuel]

Raz continued to hide behind Gaia's head, peeking beside it to watch the cat.

Zanthe raised an eyebrow at the Great Dane, thinking over his words. "So he needs to be taken out, then," she replied. "Am I right on that? Also, to answer your question about my wound..." The catfox leaned back and parted her belly fur until the scar from the recent stab wound was showing. "...This is all that's left of it."

"Mhm, we can't risk keeping him alive. I'm sure he'll get out of jail easily. He must be assassinated before he tries to run for mayor." He said before raising a brow to the wound. "Well it's healed well." Mr.Hendrick nodded.


Zaida hopped in the car turning it on. "Alright" she pulled out of the driveway then onto the street. The apartment fading away as she drove off.

Zanthe raised an eyebrow at the Great Dane, thinking over his words. "So he needs to be taken out, then," she replied. "Am I right on that? Also, to answer your question about my wound..." The catfox leaned back and parted her belly fur until the scar from the recent stab wound was showing. "...This is all that's left of it."

Zaida hopped in the car turning it on. "Alright" she pulled out of the driveway then onto the street. The apartment fading away as she drove off.

Zanthe smoothed her fur out and folded her hands in her lap. "It was treated well," she replied, returning the nod. "So... what's the plan and why do you need me?"

The cat shrugged. "Eh, it's not like these clothes aren't washable or anything," she said, picking lightly at the sleeve of her sweatshirt. She looked back at Gaia, smiling. "I have to say though, yours are pretty sweet."

Gaia smiled back at the cat. "Thanks." Gaia extended a paw towards the cat. "Nice meeting you. My name is Gaia."
